Living with Trisha, a series which debuted a year ago is celebrating one year of educative entertainment. This coincides with several additions to their already outstanding cast.

The role of Naana which is a medley of many different characters in one will now be played by Edith Faalong, A new entrant into the industry. She stars along Gloria Sarfo, Narsh Smith, Elaine Attoh and others.

Edith made her entrance barely a year ago as a nurse on Sparrow Production’s Peep series, she went on to play and extra in Yvonne Okoro’s contract and has since covered good ground acting alongside Martha Ankoma in 14th February, and the likes of Kofi Adjololo, Roselyn Ngissah and Nana Ama McBrown in Miser—which earned her incredible reviews.

Her other screen appearances include Broadway, Crime in Love and Sins of Our fathers.

With a degree in Economics from the University of Ghana, The very versatile actress has managed to get herself ahead with impeccable diction, smooth versatility with which she moulds into any role presented to her. Be it haughty, humble, religious or promiscuous.

Her idols include Kerry Washington, Genevieve Nnaji and Omotola Jalade Ekeinde. One would wonder how the actress managed to bag so many productions in under a year. The answer is by being versatile.

She approaches her roles with so much passion, proactively an incredible drive and focus. Also, as a writer, she has an advantage of understanding and tailoring roles perfectly—putting her ahead of many of her colleagues.

Living with Trisha is a Kairos Production directed by Prince Amuni Gbenga and airs on Viasat 1 Sundays at 4pm and DSTV’S African magic entertainment channel 151 from 1st June.

On future projects, Edith reveals to GhanaCelebrities.Com, she is presently working on several projects with Farmhouse Productions and Platinum Films yet to be released and promises not to disappoint.

She also expresses an interest in working more with producers who are not afraid to introduce quality at a decent cost and give room for in-depth character development. She isn’t looking to be physically beautiful in every character; she says interpreting the character artistically is what makes the role beautiful. I am here for the best.

  1. I LOVE IT! Fabulous acting, Edith is truly talented, as is the actor who plays her boyfriend. I burst out laughing at different points. And it was realistic. No unnecessary screaming, no artificial looking, over the top weaves. Very realistic. I wish they could act movies like this.

  2. She looks familiar. That dark guy too is in movies. he is very funny. I am impressed. If she is really new, then she is good. But i doubt Jackie and company will be happy Chris is sharing their website. All the best to her, she should work harder so that we have more good actresses coming from Ghana.
