Last Saturday, multiple Grammy award winner-Donnie McClurkin blessed patrons who trouped to the Accra Sports Stadium for the all gospel music event dubbed “Ghana Stand Up In Worship” with his songs.
The show which was put together by Imajin Advertising under the tutelage of MTN brought out scores of people from all walks of lives together to worship.
All the artistes from Ghana, Nigeria and South Africa wowed the expectant patrons but it was the 53 year old Donnie McClurkin who put the icing on the cake and had all the patrons up on their feet.
With the help of the excited large crowds, Donnie didn’t struggle as he performed song after song.
The audience sang the songs word to word with him. Donnie has several popular songs but the patrons confirmed that his “I’ve Got My Mind Made Up” song remains his popular tune in Ghana.
Other performers were daughter of Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, Ela Duncan Williams, Cecilia Marfo, Rev. Mary Ghansah, Miriam of MTN Hitmaker fame, Mthunzie Namba, Uche Agu, Rev. Bernard Blessings and No Tribe.
It was a beautiful show. If you missed the last Saturday all gospel music concert dubbed “Ghana Stand Up In Worship”, then you missed a lot.
