SOMEWHERE IN THE WORLD: A Serial Shoplifter Who Is Banned From 200 Shops In UK Has Finally Been Jailed…

She should have been locked-up long ago…Inmates should now be worried about their stuff else she will steal them all…LOL

According to DailyMail;

A serial thief dubbed the real-life Vicky Pollard after bragging online about her prolific shoplifting has finally been jailed.

Jade Underwood, 23, from Greater Manchester made headlines earlier this year when she was made the subject of a ‘super ASBO’ and banned from 80 shops and businesses in the Edgeley area of Stockport after regularly being caught stealing.

She was abusive and threatening to shop staff, kept her neighbours awake with loud music and screamed at mothers taking their children to a nearby school.

But just two weeks after the two-year order was imposed, Underwood was caught shoplifting again when she took perfume worth £110 from Debenhams in the town centre.

She was also caught stealing food and DVDs from another shop and ignored a community punishment order by not turning up for an appointment.

The jobless single mother has now been jailed for ten weeks for five offences after appearing at Stockport magistrates’ court.

She has also been barred from around 200 shops in Stockport town centre to prevent her terrorising shop staff following the hearing on July 30.

Today one shopkeeper said the whole community were relieved at the sentence.

He said: ‘We’re just relieved she’s finally been locked away. That woman has been nothing but a menace.

‘Prison’s probably too good for the likes of her but at least it will keep her from us – for now.’

In April this year Underwood was likened to yobbish comedy character Vicky Pollard from Little Britain after the extent of her shoplifting was covered by a local newspaper.

Pint-sized Underwood who stands only 5ft tall brought misery to shopkeepers with her multiple shoplifting sprees and would verbally abuse parents taking their children to and from a local primary school.

One local Boots store had been targeted so many times that staff stopped putting make-up on the lowest shelves to avoid them being grabbed.

Her serial shoplifting and abuse of her neighbours led to a raft of complaints about her and she was eventually issued with a criminal anti-social behaviour order or Crasbo.

A Crasbo differs from an Asbo in that it is imposed after a criminal conviction has been made.

The Crasbo barred the mother-of-three from the main shopping street, primary school and supermarkets which she targeted and bright yellow posters bearing her grim-faced photo were put up around the area to encourage locals to report her to police if she was seen.

But far from being humiliated into better behaviour the shameless Miss Underwood apparently enjoyed he newfound notoriety.

After the article was published she took to Facebook to post an angry and misspelt message of defiance.

She said:’Heyy yah dont bring me down, least am famouse!! Yah all whata leve meh alone.

One former neighbour John Duggan, 55, said Underwood had ‘absolutely no shame whatsoever’.

He said:‘She used to wear tracksuits and looked just like Vicky Pollard from the TV show [Little Britain]. She is a little toad, she’s just horrible.

‘She would openly say to me “I’m going shoplifting today”, she was not ashamed. I couldn’t believe it.

‘She would come back with food mostly, shoplifting was her full-time job. She didn’t work, she said she was better off on benefits.’

The application for the original ban described Underwood as a ‘prolific shoplifter’ and stated that she ‘on numerous occasions used language and behaviour that has caused considerable alarm, harassment and distress to members of shop staff.’

Underwood also abused a member of the public who was using a bus.

At the time the ban was first imposed, shopkeeper Mr Javed Faruqh, 55, of Alm Newsagents and Convenience Store said: ‘Many times she would come in and put things in her pocket and steal. I had to always ask her to leave. She would steal drinks and sweets.

‘She would always come back it was very frustrating. She would steal things worth £2 or £3 each time and then she would become quite abusive and one time I called the police.

‘She used to call me paki b****rd many times. In a two month period she would come in every day. I had to ban her myself.’

Today Police said Miss Underwood’s sentence should act as a lesson to other would-be yobs who might wish to copy Miss Underwood.

Pc Jon Daniels said: ‘This shows if you breach your order what can happen. As soon as she was banned from Edgeley, she came here as the only place left was the town centre.

‘When she stole something, she would sometimes become abusive and shout in the middle of the store.

‘Shoplifting has a massive knock-on effect for stores and can really add up. Shops can close down through stock loss and can lose thousands in a month.’
