After many years of failure and inability of several event organizers in the UK to satisfy revellers and bring the best of Entertainment to concert goers, Gye Nyame Entertainment-a non profit organisation based in Luton has taken up the challenged to deliver great entertainment and cultural exchange through music & dance.
Following the launch of Gye Nyame Entertainment few months ago, the organisation will tomorrow-24th August, 2013 hold its 1st Concert and Cultural Exchange event in Luton—-headlined by Ghana’s finest, Obrafour…
The event which will also see performances from the famous ‘Amamere Folk Music & Dance Emsemble’ among others will be held at Lewsey Farm Learning Centre, 92 Tomlinson Avenue, Luton, Beds. LU4 0QQ (8pm Till Late)
To break the convention of event organizers in UK advertising artistes and failing to bring them over, Gye Nyame Entertainment has brought Obrafour from Ghanatwo days to the event to enable him settle in, and make the necessary technical demands.
I caught up with Obrafour few minutes ago to talk about his upcoming studio album, the progress of Ghana Music on the international scene among other things (interview will be published later).
And we also made a stop at Nandos to do justice to some spicy chicken—-Obrafour’s favourite!
