  1. I respect her n I think she looks good but cutting her hair is no-no coz God calls it (natural hair) our veil in the spiritual realms n wants us to take very good care of it. too much Brazilian, Indian, Cambodian, chokor, Malata, etc hair is so not ok. N it’s high time Ghana gov’t Schools stopped making children get short hairs before they can be in sch. It makes no sense for whatever reason! Check Angelina zambrano on u tube or google n listen to the hidden truth n also the hair part.

    • @Say, school girls cut their hair cos if they are allowed to wear weaves they might appear older than they luk which can cause a lot of problems

    • @Say, I’m sorry but I beg to differ. Nana Ama looks amazing with her short natural hair! Why do we Africans ALWAYS interpret scripture against our culture? Short natural hair is the way our ancestors wore their hair for centuries & if it displeased God, then we’d all have been wiped out by now! Our grandmothers who were queenmothers wore ‘dansinkran’, little girls in our culture also wear short hair to signify their youth. Go to south africa, kenya & botswana, women traditionally wear short hair. Our culture is beautiful & short African hair is amazing. There’s nothing wrong with it & it doesnt take away anyone’s ‘glory’. Isn’t it strange that your God doesn’t criticize women using damaging relaxers & artificial weaves but he has a problem against them rocking their OWN short natural hair? Hmmm!

      • @Susie,
Kenya, Botswana, really? I won’ tell u who i am but read history, n discover the truth about those cultures n what it really stands for then u’ ill go like oohhhh-Miss naive, live in that world ok.! Ancestors n cultures established on what basis, for what purpose n to please which god?! Don’t worry. The end will justify the means, n when it does, I hope u wouldn’t be crying the fools tears. Had I known!

        • @Say,I have read history & several accounts by historians & I’m telling you that short hair has been in vogue for black people for years since ancient Egyptian times & i’m proud of it. Guess what, I’m currently rocking my short natural hair & I’ve never felt more ‘glorious’ & pretty in my life! I’m proud of African culture, I’m proud of African religion. I don’t need to worship a blue eyed blonde Jesus who tells women not to cut their hair but to keep it long. I googled your angelina zambrano chick & found out that she’s one of those fake ‘prophetesses’ or seers of whoever who claim to have seen visions about heaven & hell. all of us can get drunk & see visions of heaven & hell if we want to. Am not going to entrust my life to some fake person who claims to have seen a visiohl End of the day, we’ll all die alone & face whatever comes afterwards so if you believe that you’re going to meet your god who wants you to keep long hair or he’ll take away your glory then good for you carry on. Some of us dont believe that mess & we’re very happy

  2. Nana Ama, you look amazing! This hairstyle has really made you look young & fresh paa o! How I wish that you’d say goodbye to those heavy weaves & rock more of your own natural hair in lovely styles like twists, cornrows, braids, afro among others! Am so happy to see more black women ditch all the relaxers & weaves. To my fellow black sisters, we’re beautiful just the way God made us, a white woman’s hair is never better than our own so let’s celebrate what we have.
