After writing the article on the type of guys ladies should run from, I thought it wise to balance the equation by seeking the opinion of a gentleman (gentle, but broke) on the type of ladies guys should also run from. As he opined, young ladies live more in illusion than reality. They pay more attention to Google, chick-flicks, not knowing that most of the things or ideas gotten from them are more abstract than realistic.
There are those ladies who prefer to be loved by mere fantasy and flattery. Some ladies feel very happy and important when they are told tales of fantasy. The key to their hearts is mere suiting words. Without such words, they feel abandoned, uncared for and not being loved. They are usually less bothered about the truthfulness of the claims.
The Type That Are Really Not Worth Your Time
The Con-Artists: A conniving little piece of work who’s an expert at conning men. They just pretend to like what you love, agree with anything you say or do; just to make you happy. They tell you exactly what you want to hear until you’re hooked deep into the relationship (or married) and then the truth comes out.
Overnight, your sweet, agreeable and ‘she’s my type’ girl turns into a demanding, greedy, harpy who will browbeat you into submission if she doesn’t get her way. They’re very subtle when they start showing their real self.
The type who have been negatively influenced by too much love from their family…
Such ladies have usually been over-pampered and therefore, had no room to learn anything as everything was virtually done by house-helps. They lack domestic skills such as cooking (their best effort may be to cook noodles or if lucky, rice), cleaning and keeping a home. If her mother didn’t teach her to cook then you’re in trouble. Later on, you’ll be cooking for her or live on takeaways.
What happens when kids come along? Avoid this type of a woman as if she were the plague especially if you love your food.
The type who goes on and on about getting married/desperate to get married…
There is nothing wrong with a lady wanting to settle down but when they start giving ultimatums, it becomes a problem. Some of the ladies take it upon themselves to propose to the man with the wrong notion that the man is ready but is somehow ‘scared’ he’ll be turned down. Some men don’t mind being proposed to but to those who are not ready to settle, they sense desperation in the woman and that scares the hell out of them.
The ‘walking wounded’ type: Someone who has been hurt in past relationships and so subconsciously avoids or sabotages new relationships. She is always sending mixed messages. You can’t tell if she is in or out. Your association with her will be one of utter frustration, at first she shows great interest in you, but very quickly runs away — then repeats this cycle over and over again.
They scorn the male gender and can rattle off all the wrongs and misdeeds of every man they’ve ever encountered. Even if she stay put, you cannot satisfy her because she will not see any good in whatever you do. Either allow her to keep walking or you do the walking.
The ‘Where are you’ type who comes in the form of a caring girlfriend…
This type will suffocate the living day out of you. It’s nice and cool when a girl cares enough to check up on you and all that. It becomes a problem when they’re calling and texting ceaselessly to know your every move, where you are, why you didn’t pick your phone etc… If you fail to look at her from all aspects, you’ll end up with a bothersome, insecure and potentially vicious woman who will show no signs of going away.
Then, there are those who are so controversial that they don’t enjoy any relationship that is peaceful. They are naturally quarrelsome. They nag. Therefore, they always look for loopholes to start a quarrel if there’s nothing to fight about. If you’re a peace loving man, walk away.
And never forget the chatterbox…they talk non-stop, usually about vain stuff. There are the money lovers as well but now everyone is broke, so it’s a bit hard to come across this category (especially in the UK).
If you want your mental serenity, walk away from the above…
According to him, high on the list of what they seek in a woman is humility and honesty….. (But are they honest themselves?)
