Henrietta Mensah, the wife of Ghana Blackstar’s defender and captain-John Mensah has filed for divorce over the footballer’s inability to stay faithful and take up his responsibilities as a married man with children—-according to reports.
The couple who have been married for over 10 years sees nothing as capable of holding them together as the marriage is said to have irretrievably broken down.
The Divorce petition which was filed in Accra today cites infidelity alongside John Mensah having neglected his fatherly responsibilities by leaving the total upkeep of their children to Henrietta alone at their Trasacco residence.
Speaking to Radio XYZ Sports later on today, John Mensah mentioned that the claims by his wife of infidelity and also neglecting his responsibilities as stated in the Divorce petition are all false.
“I do what every responsible father has to do for his children and I have no reason not to cater for their needs” he said.
He added “I do well to send them money as I know they will need them and I have always been taking responsibility of everything else including their school fees”.
