Recently during a chit chat with a new friend, she asked what my hobbies are…In fact, this simple question was difficult to be answered. Immediately, I poured out the list of the known hobbies—reading, swimming, travelling and movies.
Apart from movies, I know I am not keen about any of the above. It seems the non-availability of time on my hands and the obstruction technology creates has relegated to the background many of our traditional hobbies…
I spend several hours each day on facebook and twitter—therefore, I will be sad if facebooking or tweeting cannot be accepted as a hobby. If they are not, what are they then?
The days of Ludo are gone and reading as a hobby is pretty much overtaken by catching up on gossip and news. And I bet this does not count as reading in the world of hobby.
