Why I DELETED My Facebook & Instagram Accounts | An Online Life Ruled By Deceit

I have been off Facebook and Instagram for some months now after I realized most of the things I was getting jealous about were staged and deceit plated…

In fact, I think I am happier today than I was some months ago when through Facebook status and photos updates, I thought my life was one hell of a sh*t hole.

Like most people on Facebook and Instagram do, these social media platforms were my morning coffee and my late night tea—checking the platforms religiously each morning and before I sleep. And I’ve not added the number of times I sneak my way unto there while at work.

Anytime I log on, I get to see interesting updates in words and photos from friends and those I do not even know but have somehow added me—-I called them the virtual world buddies.

With time, I became jealous of most of my friends—believing they were living a dream life while I continue to starve on the beauty of life.

Friends were going on holidays, visiting places and meeting some interesting people while I continue to work my butt off—-and at the end of the month, I still had nothing to show for it.

The status updates were the real killers.  Each week, I get to read things like; my boyfriend just made my day… Having a dinner with BF….Packing to go away….He just popped the question and I said Yes…

Which single girl looking for all the above will not feel a little jealous and the pressure to re-evaluate her life each day?

I am sure a certain Lawyer who represents Reggie Rockston and several Ghanaian entertainers will be saying; Chris is a wizard…

After Eazzy and Keitta’s Big Brother pull and push, I had the privilege to meet the above lawyer in London and during our discussion; I zoomed IN on Eazzy and Keitta…

I clearly remember saying, Eazzy and Keitta’s relationship will not last, and I gave the Lawyer several reasons why the relationship will hit the rock within a year or a little over a year…

The Lawyer and family friend of Rockstone looked at me in the face and said; it won’t happen. She “knows the two and they are much in love”, she said. I told her, I also understand Showbiz and I am certain the end is near….

GhanaCelebrities.Com have had suspicions that things have not been great between Eazzy and Keitta for sometime now—-based on the fact that the two have grew apart in terms of public appearances. It certainly has been a struggle!

Our suspicion seems to have been confirmed via the below tweet Eazzy sent out today. Interestingly, she quickly deleted it, hoping to make it seem like she did not say a thing—-we just hope she does not come out to talk about HACKING!

If it is over as we think, they should manage the break-up properly because things can get nasty. We reached out to Eazzy for a comment and we’ve heard nothing back!

We’ve made several calls out and we’ve learnt that; with Eazzy chasing her career, hoping to blow out BIG, Keitta pretty much fits no where—-the beginning of the little problems.

One source we spoke to said, Eazzy is all over the place—working so hard to make something for herself and this “was getting Keitta uncomfortable”, especially when your woman can be away for days without you. Who knows what she will be up to?

Two years ago Ruth would have given IN anything to be married. She plotted, schemed and manipulated every man in her path towards that goal. The result? It did happen and in grand style too! What we pursue, we get.

Fast forward to two years after, only two years after and Ruth is on the couch drinking a bottle of straight vodka and wishing she had never gone down that path.

Not to condemn the holy institution of marriage but society is pushing many women into wrong unions through baseless pressure.

Ruth’s main issue is that heR husband doesn’t stay home, doesn’t spend special days with her and does not even remember to call to inform her whether he will be home or not. All her investigations point to the fact that he is cheating. And her auntie thinks she needs to stop complaining about that.

Why? Because she insists all husbands cheat and it is not an issue.I am dumbfounded. All husbands cheat? And it is really not an issue?

Do you know that today’s woman is just as possessive and territorial as a man?

And what manner of man disrespects his wife enough to even flaunt his cheating ways anyway? in my opinion if you love someone you will NOT CHEAT on them. I can understand a woman marrying a man for many reasons besides love but a man marries the woman he loves right?

Disciplining the Ghanaian Way | What Are Some Of Your Memories Of Being Punished?

Last weekend my attention was drawn to a video making rounds on Social Media. In the video a young boy, of not more than 10 years was having a heated argument with his mother in a bus. The young child proceeded to call his mother some unprintable names, all because he wanted to sit by himself. Perhaps the mother knew the nature of her Son and wanted to keep him close by.

At a point the boy even threatened to punch the mother in the face, if she didn’t yield to his request. The mother warned the boy of the consequences of his words and actions when they get home, but the boy retorted that he was going to call Social Services on his mother, should she lay her hands on him.

I watched this video in utter disgust, because even as a young adult, I could never talk to my parents in that manner. Right from childhood, our parents made sure to discipline us very well anytime we did something wrong. It could be something as simple as forgetting to brush your teeth or something as grave as stealing.

No matter what it was, you were assured of some sort of punishment for your wrongdoings. The punishment came in different forms, from getting beaten with a cane soaked in kerosene overnight, to being injected ginger with an anal syringe.

Looking back, I believe that those punishments helped to shape who I am now. As a kid, whenever I did anything wrong, I was always fearful of my parents finding out because I knew what they would do to me. In a way these punishments helped keep our behaviors in check, because we just knew we could not get away with doing some things.
