One of the oldest fashion rules for women is that you can show your legs or cleavage – but not both at a time.

Jennifer who began the night in a barely-there print dress as she showed off her fabulous figure on the red carpet changed into a black leather mini-skirt, fishnet tights and a pair of high spiked heels when she mounted the stage later to perform…

Ablekuma West Member of Parliament, Ursula Owusu, has wondered whether Victoria Hammah was appointed as a Deputy Minister because of her “beauty and hips”.

“…She’s talking about beauty and hips as criteria for appointment and I ask myself where that is getting us as a country? Survival Tips For The Upcoming Christmas Holidays | You Definitely Need This!

woman-with-shopping-bags

Christmas is just around the corner and very soon our dear country would be filled with returnees from all over the world. There would be all kinds of events throughout the Christmas season and for some of us Ghanaians living in Ghana, it could be quite difficult keeping up with all the activities especially in the present state of the economy. Being a veteran in the Ghanaian social scene, I have prepared a few tips for our lovely readers to ensure that you make the most of the festivities.

You must know a returnee:

By returnee, I am referring to all the ‘innit’ people who come into the country for Christmas holidays. You see, it is during Christmas that all the latest fashion trends are released onto the streets of Accra courtesy of the ‘borgas’. By attaching yourself to a ‘borga’, you are sure to get some free clothes from abroad.

Also hanging out with someone who has a British, American, or even a Turkish accent will ensure that people take you more seriously when you step out. So please, log into your facebook and start searching for all your long lost friends who might make it to Ghana this December. It’s not too late to re-solidify your friendship, since we are still in November.

Establish a very positive relationship with Katamanto:

You might get a few clothes from your friends abroad, but that would not be enough to cover all the events you might want to go. Remember, you don’t want to be caught in the same outfit twice since you may find our photos on GhanaCelebritiess.Com.

You should start paying religious visits to our very own department store, the largest in the world-Katamanto. Do not underestimate the power of the ‘bend down boutique’ as you could get some amazing pieces at very low prices. Also remember that you would be competing with the “borgas” who will get their clothes brand new so be sure to spend more time looking—-so that you will only buy the best.

FOR THE TECHIES: You Can Now Use Your iPhone As THERMOMETER

Iphone Thermometre

In a recent video of physicist Michio Kaku, he brilliantly talked about how things around us will give us daily health check status in the year future and it seems we are close to this…

A new iPhone thermometer app has been launched and it can tell worried parents if their child’s temperature is too high, and guide them through a list of symptoms.

This is how it works; the technology uses a thermometer which plugs into the phone’s jack to read temperatures. After which, it will display the temperature on the screen, alongside a chart of possible symptoms for users to self-diagnose.

The thermometer app called Kinsa Smart Thermometer also keeps records of health issues, and gives users an ‘illness forecast’ estimating when they will get better and how contagious they might be.
