Emerging reports say “highly placed sources close to former Black Stars Player, Nii Odartey Lamptey, have insisted in interviews with XYZ News that the football star, on three different occasions, caught Ghana’s 2013 representative to the Big Brother Africa competition, Elikem Kumordzi, flirting with his (Odartey’s) wife in their matrimonial home”.
This is one of those stories that you must have followed how it has developed to be able to make a sense out of it. Nevertheless, I will try to summarize things for you—so you can understand what is going on…
About two months ago (31st August, 2013), GhanaCelebrities.Com wrote a piece titled-OPENED GOSSIP: Which Ghanaian Big Brother Africa Star Is BANGING The Wife Of A Retired Ghanaian Footballer which stated among other things that; a Ghanaian Big Brother Africa star who has bragged to friends and others about his interest in holding sexual relationship with women older than him is seriously spanking the wife of a former Black Star striker who also played in England during his peak days.
The article continued; the sad part of this is that, though the former striker suspects his wife is sort of messing about with the Ghanaian Big Brother star, he can’t seem to put his hand on any evidence. And we are told even if he does, he may probably not be able to do anything as he stands the chance of losing a lot should the wife pack off…
The only name we mentioned in the article was the woman involved-Gloria. But few hours after our publication, Ghana’s Big Brother star-Elikem added Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri (Editor, GhanaCelebrities.Com) on blackberry after asking around for his pin.
Elikem told Chris-Vincent that, “he is not in any sexual relationship with the woman” but ACCEPTED and INSISTED they were just friends—and he is even a good friend of one of the women’s daughter.
Without hesitation, Chris-Vincent warned Elikem that, ‘the husband of Gloria is not happy, according to what he has heard so it will be better for him to end his sexual relationship with her if indeed there is such a thing going on’
Despite this, Elikem is being reported to have stated categorically that, he does not know Odartey Lamptey, the husband of Gloria who he claims to be his good friend. How can you not know the husband of your good friend?
Therefore, on the issue of Elikem stating that he has not even heard of the name Odartey Lamptey before, we say, he is a GODDAM LIAR. God only knows what else he is lying about…
Two months after our OPENED GOSSIP publication, Odartey Lamptey, the retired Ghanaian footballer who has been married to Gloria (the woman Elikem is alleged to be chopping down) has revealed to Adakabre Frimpong Manso on NEAT FM that he thought his three daughters were his biological children until a DNA test proved otherwise.
“…I thought they were my children but upon a DNA test, I got know that they are not my biological children,” the former Aston Villa star disclosed.
“The issue is in court… it is a legal issue I don’t want to go into now….but I am 100% sure that the children are not mine after 20-years
“We had five children but two passed away so it is left with only 3,” he confirmed to NEAT FM.
In the midst of what the DNA has proven and an alleged sexual relationship with the woman involved, Elikem has come out to deny being the father of the children—-which we do not have a problem with.
He went further to say, he does not even know the Gloria that much and has never heard the name Odartey Lamptey before—this is where we have a big issue. Is it not the same Elikem who told GhanaCelebrities.Com just two months ago that Gloria is his good friend as well as Gloria’s daughter? What else is he lying about?
We have our blackberry chat with Elikem still in place and intend to publish it should he continue with his absurd denial of NOT knowing Gloria or her husband.
This is very sad.after 20 yrs you realize all this while your kids are not yours .,so sorry for Odartey,but pls men look for God-fearing,down to earth women to live with instead of those sophisticated high time women all In the name of class.i would rather my sons marry villagers and have peace of mind than these high target ladies.as for Elikem,if its true Heaven will deal with him.
@Victoria,You will so surprised when you find out of what villagers and God fearing women does to their husbands or wives…..this is sad but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter where one is coming from but more who or the personality of the person….just pray and hope that your sons get great women….or daughters great men….but I agree that this is extremely sad…I feel bad for the kids….parents are also part of children’s identity….now these kids are torned….
@Missy, rightly said its only by prayer and divine intervention.my boys are only five and two but I always pray for their future partners,my first boy is so sensitive that @ his age when he gets attached to something and loses it he feels depressed for days.and I don’t no but I take everything so personal that after I heard the news I started thinking of my boys.God help us all.

I’m just trying to imagine how the man is feeling now.20 years of his life gone to waste…omg! but come to think of it,where was odartey wen his wife was being impregnated by other men? I’m not in anyway condoning wat the woman did,i’m just looking at this issue frm two different perspectives.for him to have lived with the woman for twenty yrs and not father even one of the children is questionable.could it be dat he has a problem we don’t know about?I think there’s more to this story.it could be dat the woman just didn’t want to have odartey’s children or odartey couldn’t give her children.

@maame ama, It is stated in the article, that they had five children but two have died. And mind you also as a football player they travel a lot… so anything can happen behind his back. The same thing happened here in my town. When a Ghanaian man was trying to get his children from Ghana to come up and stay with him, The European country wanted a DNA test to prove the children were his… and between 4 and 5 children non were his!!!
