The Top 5 REGRETS Of The Dying, From Working Too Hard To Not Saying ‘I LOVE YOU’

making-marriage-last

Life is short and that is why we have to enjoy each  moment  by doing the things that are dear to our heart. A  former nurse has shared her experiences of what terminally ill people tend to regret the most.

Bronnie Ware, a palliative care nurse who looked after people in the last few weeks of their lives, says it is surprising how many dying people have the same regrets.

According to DailyMail;

Ms Ware also found men regretted working too hard, while many people wish they had had the courage to more frequently express their feelings.

Inspired by what she discovered, Ms Ware wrote a book – The Top Five Regrets Of The Dying: A Life Transformed By The Dearly Departing – about her experiences.

She said: ‘My patients were those who had gone home to die and some incredibly special times were shared.

‘People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality and some changes were phenomenal.

‘Each experienced a variety of emotions, as expected – denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance.

‘Every single patient found their peace before they departed though.

‘When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again.’

She says the five most common regrets of the elderly are:

‘I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me’

‘This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled.

‘Most people had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.’

OPENED GOSSIP: A Ghanaian Footballer Has 4 Children Outside His Marriage & Wife Doesn’t Know What The HECK To Do!

Opened-Gossip

At a time most Ghanaians are pointing fingers at the women for being unfaithful and ungrateful following the recent Odartey Lamptey’s case, it has emerged that a certain Ghanaian footballer who used to play in England allegedly has 4 children with different women outside his marriage.

And his wife who has 3 kids with him does not know what the heck to do—as a result of the kids and the fact that she fully depends on the footballer.

GhanaCelebrities.Com is told that, not long ago when the footballer’s career in England came to an end, his wife tried to stay over in the United Kingdom but the Home Office failed to grant her a visa—-stating that, she was here as a dependant of her husband and therefore if her husband was no more working in the country, there was no grounds for her stay application.

After her unsuccessful attempt to remain in the UK, the wife of this footballer (R) moved to Ghana only to find out that, her husband has been MORE than naughty all the time he has been visiting and staying longer than expected in Ghana.

As at now, the wife of the Ghanaian defender is confused as to what to do. Leaving is not an option as she pretty much depends on the husband for everything including her ‘panties’, a source told GhanaCelebrities.Com.

Are You Travelling Home From Abroad? Don’t Forget My Shopping List!

woman-with-shopping-bags

A few weeks ago, I received a Facebook message from a friend. She was reminding me that black Friday was coming soon and she needed some things from the USA. She actually gave me a long list of items I should buy for her.

The items ranged from a phone, to a flat screen TV and designer perfumes. What was surprising was the fact that she didn’t mention how I was going to get the money to buy all these things. According to her she would check the websites on Black Friday so that she could calculate the exact prices. She didn’t mention whether I was going to get the money before or after shopping. She didn’t mention the shipping costs of these items to her.

I realize that it is a normal expectation to have our friends and loved ones shop or buy as gifts whenever they travelled abroad. Some people actually feel bad when their friend/relative/colleague travels and fails to get a gift. We all have the mindset that items abroad such as clothing, electrical gadgets etc are cheap and bountiful, and as such we struggle to understand why someone would travel abroad and not get anything for us. In fact I have seen situations where friendships have been ruined because one friend travelled abroad and failed to get a gift for the other friend.
