As one of the first people to have subscribed to Sparrow Station which went LIVE two days ago, I got a free coupon via email yesterday to watch Sparrow Productions new short film ‘BIG FOR NOTHING’ which I just did…

Though I love the idea of short films, I just wish there was more to this story. I was so deep into it and then I heard ‘Big For Nothing’, followed by the credits… I was left disappointed—not because I didn’t like it but because I wanted more. You can call me Oliver Twist on this one…

When it comes to quality, there is no need to go on about it because we already know Sparrow Productions hallmark of quality—and this short film does not fall out of the line.

John Dumelo was his usual best and Jasmine’s delivery was also on point.  I thought the language was a bit too direct but then I guess that is why it is rated 18, so I should have expected that.

Weak Point; John Dumelo’s hair was well trimmed but his ‘goat beard’ needed a little cut too. It made that part of his face a little tacky which I know the ladies would not appreciate.

In all, I will rate the short film 7/10…And remember my desire of wanting more has taken 2 marks from it already.
