Do You Want Him To Pop The Question? – Don’t Worry; Here Are 5 Tips To Get You That Ring In 2014!

Love

We are in a new year and if you are like me, you are still wondering how the heck you are still without that ring. It doesn’t help much that during the festive period, wedding invitations increased by exponential proportions. Every time I go for any wedding, I keep wondering how the bride was able to get that ring.

Not to worry, together with a few single friends like me, in consultation with some new brides, we have put together  the absolutely most-do tips for any single girl looking to end next year-2014 in style. Forget any other advice you may have been adhering to, it obviously doesn’t work.

Be best friends with his Mum: This is very tricky as it could either go well for you or may very well end your relationship. Being best friend’s with your boo’s Mum entails shopping for her, calling her up frequently to check up on her, adding her to your friends list on Social Media, taking selfies with her and tagging it with captions like —‘God has done it for me, I have the best mother-in-law to be’. There’s is so much more you can do to solidify your relationship with his Mum. Don’t forget the basic like doing household chores like cooking, washing, cleaning etc anytime you visit her home.

Adopt a more natural beauty regime: Ladies, how do you expect your boyfriend to propose if your nails cut him anytime he holds your hands. Or if your eyelashes are so long that he can’t even see your eyes? If you are really serious about getting that highly coveted ring and a MRS title in 2014, you might want to consider trying a much more natural look. If possible, start using black thread to plait your hair, forget your MAC cosmetics and just settle for ‘STAY talcum powders’.  There is a law that states that the more natural you look, the more likely you are to become a MRS.

DO YOU KNOW THAT: A Lack Of Sleep ‘DAMAGES The Brain In A Similar Way To Being Hit On The Head’?

black-woman-sleeping

Without sleep, the body becomes exhausted and the performance of the brain can be weakened. It becomes almost impossible to concentrate when you’ve gone for a day or two without a sleep.

But according to a new study, it is worse than the above. It has been found that, going without sleep for just one night causes changes in the brain similar to those that occur after a blow to the head.

Explaining the findings of the research, Professor Christian Benedict, of Uppsala University, Sweden has stated that; ‘What we found was their levels in the blood rose in the group that went without sleep for a night. This was not to the extent that would happen after a head injury, for instance, but it was still significant. During sleep, the brain cleans itself of toxic substances and NSE and S-100B increase in response to these substances.’

Making The Best Out Of The New Year | Remember Life Is Full Of Twists & Turns

life-indeed-would-be-dull
Life

Over time I have discovered there is no absolute finish line for everyone in the race of life. Our tracks and durations are different. The only thing we have in common is the same empire. For instance, one person may graduate at the age 20 and will struggle for another 5 years to get a job.

Another might graduate at 25 and may get a job immediately. One can marry a virgin and wait for the next decade to have the blessings of children, another may have had series of abortions in her past but will become a mother almost immediately after marriage.

A fellow may become an MD at 38 and die at 56. Another may become MD at 55 and live to be 90.

What a life! Life is full of twists, turns, ups and downs, many surprises and disappointments. Life offers each one of us different opportunities and once an opportunity is lost, it’s gone forever.

It is up to each one of us to patiently prepare, wait, recognize and utilize every opportunity. We learn on the way. No one knows it all or has it better.

Kwabena Kwabena To Be Sued By UK Based Event Organizer For Fraud & Breach Of Contractual Obligations + We Have The PAPERS Here…

Kwabena Kwabena Album Launch (1)
Kwabena Kwabena

For many years, the existing hostile and lack of transparent relationship between several Event Organizers and Ghanaian artistes have been attributed to the actions and omissions of Event Organizers, orchestrated to financially exploit the artistes.

However, increasing reports indicate that, our Ghanaian artistes are not the ones always suffering in the hands of Event Organizers, both home and abroad.  Contrary to their cry of being the victims of a long-standing injustice, some Ghanaian artistes seem to be carrying the burden of fraud—swindling Event Organizers even in the face of existing enforceable contracts.

Ghanaian musician-Kwabena Kwabena was recently booked, and his manager-Kevin Opoku signed a contract with a UK based Charity Event Organizers-Gye Nyame Entertainment to perform in Luton on 21st December, 2013. But Kwabena Kwabena failed to honour the contract—-with his management rudely suggesting that the already taken ‘down payment’ can be refunded, GhanaCelebrities.Com has learned.

From the information and documents obtained, a ‘Performance’ Contract was entered into by Gye Nyame Entertainment and KBK Music Ltd (Kwabena Kwabena’s management) on 12th September, 2013 with one of the binding terms as;

‘Gye Nyame Entertainment’ and KBK Music Ltd having agreed that the former pays Kwabena Kwabena £1000 out of £3000 to perform at their Community Event-Christmas Bash in Luton.

This initial deposit of £1000 was paid and accepted by Kwabena Kwabena. However, after taking the deposit with the needed travel arrangements in place, Kwabena Kwabena and his management team decided to disregard their contractual obligations to the disappointment of the Organizers and Kwabena Kwabena’s UK fans.
