Actress/TV personality-Joselyn Dumas who recently kicked Lydia Forson, Roselyn Ngissah and others far away to win the 2013 Ghana Movie Awards’ ‘Performance By An Actress In A Supporting Role’ award has just told GhanaCelebrities.Com about the most challenging part of the role which brought her the above honour…

According to Joselyn Dumas, her most challenging time on set playing Esaba in ‘A Northern Affair’ was the dark negative emotions which her character had to go through, endure and project.

Speaking about how she landed the lead character role, she said, when Leila Djansi contacted her and later asked if she wanted to be a lead, she was ecstatic.

During our interview, she talked about her favourite scene in the movie, her professional experience working with Leila Djansi and more.

A Northern Affair’ will be premiered tomorrow-3rd January, 2014 at the National Theatre (6:30pm) and considering the fact that it features some of our best actors-John Dumelo, Kofi Adjorlolo, Beverly Afaglo and Joselyn Dumas, you definitely have to be there to see it…

Even if the many awards ‘A Northern Affair’ won at the 2013 Ghana Movie Awards is not a clear indication of its greatness, I am sure the fact that it was directed by Leila Djansi should tell you something about its quality.

A Northern Affair’ tells a well packaged story of Esaba Jomo (Joselyn Dumas), a nurse who teams up with Dr. Manuel Quagraine (John Dumelo) in a small fishing village to provide healthcare. Sparks fly and the two begin to fall in love. But each one has a dark secret that will threaten whatever love they’ll share…
