Can we mourn Komla Dumor and leave these wild assumptions and predictions behind? And which party would he has become a flag-bearer for?

Soon, NPP and NDC will start fighting—over whose side he would have stood for this presidency…

SOMEHERE IN THE WORLD: Twitter Users Who Told Feminist To Kill Her Herself And Threatened To Rape Her Are Jailed

Caroline Criado-Perez

In an article I wrote in 2012  titled – What You Say On Twitter Can Now Fetch You A Criminal Liability-A Prison Sentence, I mentioned that, the next time you push the SEND button on twitter, remember the law has changed and your tweet can fetch you a ‘gargantuan’ legal problem—including prison sentence.

All around the world, people have this misconception that they can hide behind their computers and throw out abusive comments on blogs, twitter and facebook—not knowing that the law has changed drastically and they can be easily be fished out.

Apart from the fact that you can be sued for defamation for a few lines of comment you send out through a blog or via twitter/facebook, you can even be sentenced to prison for what you say on such platforms.

According to MailOnline;

Two Twitter trolls who abused a high-profile feminist who campaigned for women to be used on banknotes have been jailed.

Isabella Sorley, 23, and John Nimmo, 25, both told campaigner Caroline Criado-Perez they wanted her to die in a series of vile messages.

As he jailed the pair at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, Judge Howard Riddle said it was ‘hard to imagine more extreme threats’.

Sorley was given 12 weeks behind bars while co-defendant Nimmo was given eight weeks in prison.

Are You Looking For The Best Web Hosting Company? Go BlueHost

bluehost

Over the years, I’ve tried several web hosting companies, with the hope that I would find the best. All I was looking for was a reliable web hosting company with affordability as a hallmark.

To be frank, there were some great Web Hosting Services I tried when it comes to reliability (there was no or little down time) of servers, which meant my blogs/websites were always on…But these Server providers/Web Hosting companies charge expensively for the reliability.

For many bloggers, paying over $500 dollars each month so that their blogs/websites can have good up time (not go off a lot) will break the bank, and I didn’t know how long I was going to be able to afford that too.

So I continued searching, moving my sites/blogs from one Web Host to another—in search for that company which could give me a good service at an affordable price…

Eventually, I found the best-Blue Host and since then it has been a happy blogging journey for me. I do not have to worry about my servers going down or any of those technical server issues.

BlueHost is one of the top shared hosting companies for blogs and websites. BlueHost offers unlimited hosting, bandwidth and several other simple scripts to give excellent online experience to bloggers and webmasters.

DO YOU KNOW THAT: ‘Seks’ Is Good For Pregnancy?

Pregnant black woman

For many, being pregnant is a visa to the world of no sex, forgetting that the act has numerous health benefits for the unborn child.

Though it can be uncomfortable because of the belly, the benefits outweigh the discomfort—as such, pregnant women have been advised to engage in sex throughout their pregnancy.

According to Graphic;

Madam Ayishetu Abudulai, a midwife at the Tamale West Hospital (TWH), has advised pregnant women to continue to engage their partners in sexual intercourse to make their unborn babies healthy and to ensure smooth delivery.

She explained that sex in pregnancy was very good because it builds bonds among the couple, and gives them the urge to take full responsibility of the baby during and after pregnancy, adding,  “It eases labour and helps in smooth delivery.”

Google Will Soon Be Offering Free Taxis To Restaurants, Casinos And Other Places As Long As You Promise To Spend Money When You Arrive

Google Car
Google Car

Technology Giant-Google is set to give out free taxi rides to people going to cinemas, restaurants and other public places, says a patent that was filed by the company few years ago…

In its bid to keep up with the lead, Google will be paying for people’s journey through its advertisers to encourage more people to use their businesses.

The system would run on Google’s existing AdWords software, and in the future, these journeys could even be carried out by Google’s self-driving cars.

Google says the local businesses would compete for the adverts in the same way firms currently compete for Google adverts on webpages.

Komla Dumor’s Death Not Of God – Archbishop Duncan-Williams | How Did He Know For Sure?

Archbishop Duncan-Williams
Archbishop Duncan-Williams

With certainty, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has said, God did not call Komla Dumor and that his death was not from God, but something else…

This could be true and this could be false too. How did he know God did not call him or his death was as a result of something else? Already, there are unmoving rumours that his recent visit to Ghana for the Christmas brrought his death, fueled by some people who did not like his success…

What do you think?

According to Myjoyonline;

The General Overseer of Christian Action Faith Ministries (CAFM), Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams says the sudden passing of ace BBC broadcaster, Komla Dumor, is not of God.

He said, 41-year-old Komla Dumor was a “very spiritual person with a good heart” which makes it difficult to explain why he should die at the prime of his life. “He was one that didn’t have just a good head [God] but had a good heart; it was something phenomenal”.

The former Joy FM/BBC presenter died of a heart attack in his home in London on Saturday, January 18, 2014. He was survived by three children and a wife.

Preparing Yourself to Escape A Heartbreak

blackcoupleatdate

I was once chatting with a friend on facebook when he asked me to find him a girlfriend. I proceeded to ask him his intention of wanting to have for himself a girlfriend. His answer was quite shocking to me. All that he was interested in was a girlfriend he could date for fun, since almost all his friends were into relationships. To cut a long story short, he was never concerned about the emotional stress he would take somebody’s daughter through.

A psychoanalyst once said love is the only enterprise which is started with incredible hopes and expectations and yet fails regularly.

When a romance fails, the result is often pain and heartbreak. And the sad fact of life is that the only sure way to avoid getting a broken heart is to avoid getting romantically involved in the first place.

Dating is a serious business in which one embarks on to select a suitable marriage mate. Nevertheless, the very nature of dating often makes it somewhat of a trial-and-error process. So it is not unusual for two people to begin dating with the best of intentions, only to find that they simply are not suitable for each other as marriage mates.

The Tributes Are Still Coming In, Ato Kwamina Dadzie Writes On Komla Dumor

Komla Dumor
Komla Dumor

Since the death of Ghanaian/BBC Broadcast journalist-Komla Dumor, many tributes have been paid and to be frank, Ato Kwamina Dadzie’s piece (below) is the best I’ve come across so far.

I am not saying it is the best because it ends with a summary of what I wrote a day after Komla’s death titled-Is Life Worth All The Struggles & Exponential Greed? Think Komla Dumor!, but because of the truth and lack of exaggeration behind the piece…

Unlike many who have forcefully become the best friends of Komla when they are not, and seem to know all his wishes, Ato takes his piece to the heart of things—telling us the obvious attributes of Komla Dumor and what kind of blessing he was to our generation.

Read the tribute below…

I was never a part of Komla Dumor’s inner circle. He never called me out for a drink. And he didn’t share any secrets with me. I am just one of those guys who enjoyed the privilege of working with him.

That was more than I could ever ask for. I wasn’t with him at the beginning. I couldn’t have been with him at the end. But in between, our paths crossed and that’s how I get to call him a friend. A blessed friend. A friend endowed with so much talent that whenever I heard his voice I couldn’t help but marvel at how one man could get so much.

He had an excellent voice. The truest voice of a broadcaster. That voice was an instrument and he knew how to play it like a virtuoso. He could capture any mood with that voice in a manner most broadcasters struggle for years to achieve. Those inflections and the ability to modulate the voice to suit the occasion came to him naturally. It was an art. He knew his art. He knew his art because he never stopped learning and looking for ways to perfect it.
