Prophet T.B Joshua Predicts Economic Doom For Ghana; Urges Prayers for the Cedi!

T.B Joshua

What is the problem with some religious people? So now God cares so much about the cedi than the dollar or any other currency right?

Instead of us looking for better economic policies to engage in competition at the international front so that our cedi will begin to pick up against the other currencies, we keep talking about prayers.

And now, T.B Joshua has also jumped unto the wagon…

line

According to RadioXYZ;

Famous Nigerian Pastor, T.B. Joshua has asked Ghanaians to pray for the recovery of their local currency. He has also predicted frightening economic doom and downturn for Ghana.

The cedi has drastically fallen in value against the dollar and other major international currencies.

The situation has compelled the Bank of Ghana to announce a tall list of measures aimed at shoring up the Cedi. The Bank has also injected US$20 million into critical sectors of the economy toward the same end.

XYZ News monitored, via Emmanuel TV on Sunday, Prophet Joshua’s live sermon to his congregation at the Synagogue Church of All Nation (SCOAN), headquartered in Nigeria, at which event he said Ghana, as well as Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya, will suffer certain economic challenges this year.

VIDEO: Racist Chants Did Not Get Mario Balotelli Crying?

Mario Balotelli
Mario Balotelli

Saying Mario Balotteli should have played for Ghana and not Italy because of the extreme racism he is constantly experiencing there will amount to running away from racism and not tackling this diabolical practice…

Despite the many years Mario Balotelli has spent in Italy, he continues to be racially abused and therefore when he was spotted crying yesterday, many thought he was doing so because of racial chants.

Initially, some thought Balotelli was crying because he was substituted, followed by others saying he was crying because he was racially abused but it turns out the tears were just “tears of a sportsman”.

After the match, Clarence Seedorf  dismissed rumours Mario Balotelli’s tears were down to racist abuse. “It was actually beautiful” he said.

“What can I say about Balotelli’s tears? They were the tears of a sportsman,” said Coach Seedorf in a Press conference.

In an interview with Mediaset Premium Seedorf also said “Mario is human. These are things that happen many times in football and sport in general. I’d say it was actually beautiful, but I’d prefer to talk about the game.”

He/She Is Mistreating/Disrespecting You….Because You Allow It

Black couple

We tend to complain when people disrespects and mistreats us in relationships and we just allow it to continue. The general consensus is that, it is men who are the worst offenders but I think it’s some women who have sent a clear message to them that they’ll accept anything including being disrespected and abused. I am not making excuses for them but as women, we unknowingly sow the ‘I’ll accept any crap’ seeds into the mind of a man because we want something in return from them; so when those seeds germinate in their minds, they treat the women accordingly.

You often hear people complain ‘he/she treats me like an idiot’…but who allowed him/her to treat you like an idiot in the first place? The reality is until you allow somebody to disrespects or mistreat you, it won’t happen. Most of us, if not all, have in one way or the other been disrespected by others and either we sought ways to end it, allow it or believed we deserved that treatment because of whatever the person is doing for us.

The first time people tend to mistreat/disrespect, we just give them the benefit of the doubt (just find excuses for them as to why they’re doing that), then if it happens again, it’s either we take the decision of not associating ourselves with them or just tell them (non-verbally) that ‘I’m fine with this so you’re at liberty to just go on doing it’.

We Are Humans First Before Color…Is It Not Time to End Color Supremacy?

women in bra

Racism has, and probably always will be the biggest cause of division among people in societies all across the world. Rankings and acquisition of status can sometimes come down to the color of your skin and if you are not lucky enough to be qualified among the “superior”, you’re left to your fate.

The light skinned are superior and rule the world while darker skin tones are considered to be ugly; which is why a lot of otherwise beautiful dark skinned people bleach (tone) their skin so as to be perceived as superior. I know some people might want to argue out the reasons why people bleach but we’ll delve into that later.

It  beats my imagination how “superior” people were able to manufacture such thoughts, believe them and consequently force them on us to accept, so much so that we as blacks (to be specific Ghanaians) now discriminate among each other because due to racially diverse genes, some Ghanaians happen to be lighter than others. Wow! It gives a new meaning to the term “superior”.

PHOTOS From the Premeire Of Any More Women? Feat. Pascaline Edwards, Fred Amugi, Ebi Bright, Fiifi Coleman & Others + My How Things Went Down!

Premiere of Any More Women (27)

Throughout its relatively young life, the Ghana Movie Industry has produced a massive number and variety of films that have ranged from glaring examples of artistic incompetence to hallmarks of cinematic excellence.

Although many of these films have proven memorable for both good and bad reasons, only a few have come to be regarded as true “classics.” One such film which may live the classic dream is “Any More Women?”, directed by Oheneba Acheampong and written by Kofi Safo Ntim.

The movie features the likes of Fiifi Coleman, Ebi Bright, Prince David Osei, Ken Fiafi, Fred Amugi, Pascaline Edwards, and many more.

The film begins by introducing the audience to a scene of great laughter. With lots of comedy and romance put together, why wouldn’t the audience still get attached to their seats even after the film ended?
