Divorce Forces John Mensah to Put His Trassaco Valley Mansion on Sale

John Mensah and Wife

This is going to make our rich footballers and even the not so rich ones think twice before leaving their wives behind—and going the divorce route.

It has emerged that, former Black Stars defender-John Mensah has been forced to put his plush Trassaco Valley Estates mansion in Accra on sale per the orders of an Accra High Court, for divorce settlement.

Late last year, John Mensah’s now divorced wife- Henrietta filed for divorce to end their 10 years marriage, citing infidelity alongside John Mensah having neglected his fatherly responsibilities by leaving the total upkeep of their children to her alone as reasons.

The divorce was granted on 14th January, 2014 and since the two former lovers cannot agree on properties share, an Accra High Court has ordered the sale of certain properties including the above mansion—on the basis that proceedings will be equally shared.
