Kwaku Manu Using Juju On Lil Win? + My Thoughts!

kwaku-manu

Two years ago (May, 2012), I wrote an article based on information I gathered titled ‘Ghanaian Actresses Using Juju ‘Black Magic’ To Sabotage Colleagues & Gain Movie Roles’. I remember even discussing this piece on Peace Fm Entertainment Review when the article was considered on the show…

In the said article, I stated among other things that;

“It may be superstitious and thick to you, but to the many Ghanaian Actresses visiting the shrines of prominent juju men (native doctors), it works wonders and that is the source of their fame, glory and the ‘goodness’ that follow them.

Few months ago, I was kicked out of my chair when I was informed by certain industry persons about the rapid spread of the use of black magic by some Ghanaian Actors (predominantly the women-Actresses).

The shock and the thought of this primitive practice endured with me for days. I could not believe what I was hearing.

Despite how bemused and bewildered I was, I could not let the issue just pass like the wind. I decided to talk to certain industry persons such as Actors, Actresses and movie makers to ascertain the merits which can be accorded to this evil development.

To be frank, I thought it was a joke. I could not bring myself to understand the connection between black magic and getting a movie role or being famous in a struggling movie industry like ours. I guess I was a little too naive to spot how diluted the over saturated industry has gotten.

During my conversations with several industry persons, 3 names were common on the lips of all. From what I deducted from my conversation with these people, it seemed I was the only one who did not know about the use of ‘juju’ by our movie stars especially the women in the Ghanaian movie industry.”

**************

Today, the issue of juju is slowly emerging again with Ghanaian actor/comedia-Kwaku Manu openly saying; Lil Win is being badly advised that he (Kwaku Manu) is using juju against him…

I am not saying Kwaku Manu is doing so but the fact that the issue of Juju is being discussed by industry persons sort of indicates that, some people in the industry indeed use it—just like I stated two years ago…

According to PeaceFm;

There is simmering tension between two renowned Kumasi based actors Kwaku Manu and Kwadjo Nkansah popular known as Lil Win.

The two, who used to be close friends and starred in several movies together, seem to be fighting for supremacy and relevance on the silver screen. Kwaku Manu also known as “Wo ye me taste!” who just returned from a long trip abroad, has granted a number of interviews throwing several accusations at funny actor Lil Win.

According to Kwaku Manu, his colleague Lil Win’s attitude has changed towards him on his return from abroad. He claims Lil Win as distanced himself from him and that he is definitely not the Kwadjo Nkansah he knew some years back.

Kwaku alleged that for some time now, he had observed that Lil Win has refused to star in any movie in which he Kwaku Manu is involved in citing that as the reason why Ghanaian movie lovers do not see them together in movies anymore.

Juliet Ibrahim Slams Those Accusing Her of Skin Bleaching + She Wrongly Says Mixed Race People Cannot BLEACH

Juliet Ibrahim1
Juliet Ibrahim

I stated in June 2013 that several of our mixed race celebrities ‘BLEACH’ or use some sort of skin lightening cream so to maintain their fair complexion under the hot sun and tropical conditions—when it emerged at the time that 8 out of 10 Nigerians bleach.

I’ve met Juliet Ibrahim a few times and I don’t have any reason to think she is bleaching, considering her complexion I saw. Similarly, I don’t think Majid Michel is also using any skin lightening cream to spice up his complexion either…

For the many other mixed race individuals we have,  I don’t know and can’t say…

Any mixed race individual that lives in the tropics (especially those born there) and have been able to maintain their colour to the extent that they look pure white in the face of all the sun burn surely must be looked at twice….

Few days ago, Juliet Ibrahim got upset with people’s accusation of skin bleaching and took to twitter to slam them, saying ;

2013 WASSCE Performance: Adisadel College Places 7th, Mfantsipim 39th, Aburi Girls 44th, Achimota 78th & MORE…

Chris-Vincent Agyapong Febiri

I am publishing this because I attended Adisadel College, the best Secondary School in Ghana— it was but don’t know about now.

According to a report by Daily Graphic, Adisadel College placed 7th while The Mount Carmel Girls’ Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region topped the 2013 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) by scoring 100 per cent in the examination.

What has really changed in Ghana?

Interestingly, top schools including Mfantsipim School, Aburi Girls’ SHS, Presbyterian Boys’ SHS, Prempeh College, Accra Academy and Achimota School placed 39th 44th, 52nd, 54th, 59th and 78th respectively out of 716 schools.

I thought Adisadel was slacking but when I saw Mfantisipim, Presec and others’ position, I was forced to laugh…

It seems the past glory has shockingly washed away, meaning the old top schools are being relegated to the background.

And if you care to know, I had a damn distinction in SSCE (now WASSCE) when I was at Adisadel College) and my Electives were Geography (A), Economics (A), Government (A) and Elective Mathematics (not A)…

According to Daily Graphic;

The Mount Carmel Girls’ Senior High School in the Brong Ahafo Region topped the 2013 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) by scoring 100 per cent in the examination.

The school was followed by Wesley Girls’ Senior High in Cape Coast which had 99.60 per cent and the Tepa Senior High School, with 99.55 per cent placed third.

According to the rankings compiled by the Statistics, Research, Information, Management and Public Relations (SRIMPR) Division of the Ministry of Education, all the 56 candidates presented by  the Mount Carmel SHS had between A1 and C6, giving the school a 100 per cent score.

When The Gospel Of Prosperity Fails, The Prophecy Of Doom Is Applied!

Jesus Christ

Majority of pastors/prophets are getting smarter than ever. Prosperity preaching in some churches is now ‘old school’ (especially in the UK). If it’s still happening in a church near you, then it might be still working for the pastor (probably in Ghana because they virtually live on hope), who has not given up the dream of gaining the status of a Hollywood preacher or the congregants still believe that manna will definitely fall from the sky but it’s not their time yet.

Some men of god have realised that people are not parting with their money too much when it comes to sowing to be rich, sowing for ‘supernatural debt cancellation’ or sowing for details to vanish on bank systems when you owe a bank (these prayers don’t work on banks no matter how hefty your seed is, even if their systems crash, they always have a back-up).

So what the pastors do now is to see visions of death/prophesize doom. Like magic, God has stopped giving revelations of  riches; the only revelation they’re getting now is death, sickness, curses, witches playing ‘chaskele’ (cricket) with our lives and parents sitting on their children’s blessings….And it is working as usual.

The one I heard which intrigued me was about people who have incisions (tribal marks) on their bodies; according to a certain prophet who has the title of a Dr attached to his name: it’s a mark of evil which is causing their downfall in life so evil follows them wherever they go. The hearer of the message (who had a fulfilled life), until the doomsayer ‘prophesied’, he/she didn’t know there’s a problem with/in his life will begin to panic. That is when they start recounting why they lost that job (was not qualified for) or why they keep dreaming about animals.

MUSIGA to Still Give Car Out to VGMA’s ‘New Artiste of the Year” – Despite All the Controversies

VGMA 2014

One nomination in this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Award VGMA nomination list, which has come under huge hubbub, is the ‘New Artiste of the Year.’

The nominees for the aforementioned category are: Akwaboah, Joey B, and Kumi Guitar. Some critics posit that Akwaboah first released his song titled ‘I Do Love You’ in the year 2012 which defeats VGMA’s year of review for the award – 1st Jan, – 31st Dec, 2014.

Indeed, critics who are calling for the disqualification of Akwaboah are doing so based on an article his manager, Flexy, once wrote; where in the article, Akwaboah’s manager reveal that his artiste first released in 2012.

On Joey B, some critics argue out that he first released ‘Strawberry Ginger’ in 2012 as well as featured on songs with D-Black in 2012.

Finally on Kumi Guitar, he’s also confirmed to have composed and sung a song unto a compilation album produced by sound engineer Sugar Tone. The album, according to its marketer, Pat Thomas Productions, was released in 2011.

The musicians union of Ghana MUSIGA, gave out a car to the winner of VGMA’s 2013 ‘Artiste of the Year’ – R2Bees, because, they promised so. This year, MUSIGA came public to announce that this time round, they are no longer going to give the car to the winner of ‘Artiste of the Year’ but to the winner of ‘New Artiste of the Year.’

Another Footballer in HOT Water: John Paintsil’s Wife Files for Divorce | We Saw It Coming…

John Paintsil and Richlove
John Paintsil and Richlove

I saw this coming but I cannot explain why it took so long for Richlove, wife of John Paintsil to put up the courage to do this…

An Opened Gossip GhanaCelebrities.Com published in December, 2013 said the below…

At a time most Ghanaians are pointing fingers at the women for being unfaithful and ungrateful following the recent Odartey Lamptey’s case, it has emerged that a certain Ghanaian footballer who used to play in England allegedly has 4 children with different women outside his marriage.

And his wife who has 3 kids with him does not know what the heck to do—as a result of the kids and the fact that she fully depends on the footballer.

GhanaCelebrities.Com is told that, not long ago when the footballer’s career in England came to an end, his wife tried to stay over in the United Kingdom but the Home Office failed to grant her a visa—-stating that, she was here as a dependant of her husband and therefore if her husband was no more working in the country, there was no grounds for her stay application.

After her unsuccessful attempt to remain in the UK, the wife of this footballer (R) moved to Ghana only to find out that, her husband has been MORE than naughty all the time he has been visiting and staying longer than expected in Ghana.

As at now, the wife of the Ghanaian defender is confused as to what to do. Leaving is not an option as she pretty much depends on the husband for everything including her ‘panties’, a source told GhanaCelebrities.Com.

Despite calls by family and friends, asking ‘R’ to find peace by ending the already struggling marriage, she has remained hushed, enduring the inner hurt which is pushing her towards the doors of depression.

Today’s report by Graphic Showbiz that Ghanaian foot ball star John Paintsil, is heading for the divorce lane as his wife, Richlove Paintsil, has filed for separation at an Accra High Court seems to rest on the above…

******************

I have personally met John Paintsil once and he does not appear like the man who will beat the hell out of his wife like he reportedly did about a year ago. But then, you cannot simply look at a man and draw up his character.

“It is pretty sad that divorce has become necessary but I am happy Richlove has gathered the courage to go for it—since she has not been happy for a long time”, GhanaCelebrities.Com’s source in London told us this morning.

Check out Graphic Sport’s Report below…

Another Ghanaian international football star, John Paintsil, is heading for the divorce lane as his wife, Richlove Paintsil, has filed for separation at an Accra High Court.

However, Paintsil, who at the moment plays for South Africa’s Santos, has reportedly refused to sign the divorce papers, months after he had been served copies of the document.

Shatta Wale Harassed in Canada and Samini Stands Accused Says RAZZ

Razz

Apart from the noise and unending antagonism between Shatta Wale and Samini, are these people making more money than they could have made if the situation was peaceful?

Beef between musicians exists all over the world, but mostly there is a substantive reason to the beef—-something I cannot point out when it comes to Shatta Wale and Samini….

Anyway, check out the below article in today’s edition of RAZZ Newspaper. RAZZ comes out every Wednesday so if you are looking for a Ghanaian Entertainment print with real inside stories, don’t forget to grab a copy…

The never-ending feud between Shatta Wale and Samini making headlines every week becomes boring but when accusations of harassment, molestation and sabotage are raised – such situations must be reported.

Over the weekend, Shatta Wale and his SM4LF posse were in Canada for a series of performances in what was expected to be a good avenue for the artiste to extend his popularity and showmanship to others outside Ghana but such expectations went awry.

According to reports, on Saturday 2nd March, 2014, some unexpected troupe of guys entered the hotel room and manhandled Shatta Wale and others. It was quite baffling to Shatta’s team as to how the guys got access to the hotel premises and to the room of Shatta Wale.
