For the last two years, together with the GhanaCelebrities.Com’s team and the some of our valued readers, we’ve been on a bleaching clamp down—calling out all those celebrities bleaching and trying hard to enforce light skin supremacy…
From real bleaching to photo bleaching (intentionally filtering/photoshopping photos to look lighter), we’ve given some of the celebrities tough moments and more than enough reasons to reconsider some of their actions when it comes to their complexion.
Though I am not personally happy that some of our celebrities are SCARED (since I would have preferred them to see the sense in the crusade), it is increasingly becoming obvious that the message is getting into their heads.
The message that light skin is no way supreme or beautiful than dark skin and as such, we should be proud of our complexion is hitting them hard to the extent that, some have to categorically explain why they are looking lighter in photos.
Yvonne Okoro did it and now Becca has also seen the need to explain…

Heheheh this is damn funny but as Chris said the talk and crusade is getting to them. Now they are scared. I don’t think becca would have explained why she is light in the photo some years back but no she has to. We have to be proud of our God given colour
