Though Lupita Nyong’o has not walked on the famous Cannes red-carpet stairs yet, she is out here in Cannes for the film the festival—and two days ago, she appeared at a Calvin Klein party wearing a Calvin Klein dress.

Lupita rocked a strapless shimmery blue number, which featured a barely-there slashed chest cut-out and a pleated flared skirt.

The Oscar award winning star is out here in Cannes because she will be honored alongside Naomi Watts, Julianne Moore, and Rooney Mara by the Independent Filmmaker Project in collaboration with Calvin Klein.

What everyone is waiting for is to see Lupita on the red carpet for the first time—and even though she does not have a movie screening out here, it is possible that she may be invited to make a red carpet appearance—considering the fact that Lupita is the face of Lancome, owned by L’Oreal who are also a sponsor of the Cannes Film Festival…
