This is beyond shame for Ghana football and the various dedicated Ghanaian footballers. It seems football politics is not the only disease killing football in Ghana—as high ranking Ghana Football Association officials including the president have been caught on camera by investigators as being involved in matching fixing, the Telegraph claims.

Ghana has been exposed as agreeing to take part in international football matches organised by match fixers.

An undercover investigation by The Telegraph and Channel 4’s Dispatches programme found that the President of Ghana’s Football Association agreed for the team to play in international matches that others were prepared to rig.

The team is currently competing in the World Cup finals in Brazil, and on Saturday pulled off a 2-2 draw against Germany, in what was seen as one of the most entertaining games of the tournament so far.

However, it can now be revealed that the African team had been lined up to play in international fixtures whose results would be fixed by corrupted officials.

The Telegraph and Channel 4’s Dispatches launched a six-month investigation into match-fixing after receiving information that some football associations were working with criminal gangs looking to rig scores in international games.

Reporters from The Telegraph and a former Fifa investigator claimed they represented an investment company that wanted to “sponsor” games. Christopher Forsythe, a registered Fifa agent, along with Obed Nketiah, a senior figure in the Ghanaian FA, boasted that they could employ corrupt officials who would rig matches played by Ghana.

The president of the country’s football association then met the undercover reporter and investigator, along with Mr Forsythe and Mr Nketiah, and agreed a contract which would see the team play in the rigged matches, in return for payment.

Asamoah Gyan Equals Roger Milla + Stars Show Vast Improvement in Thrilling Draw

Asamoah Gyan-Captain of Black Star
Asamoah Gyan-Captain of Black Star

Captain Asamoah Gyan’s goal against Germany last night was his 5th at the World Cup, tying Cameroonian legend Roger Milla for the most goals scored by an African at the World Cup.

Gyan’s five goals are spread through the three world cups he has participated in, whilst Milla got his goals at Italia 90’ and USA 94’.

Considering Gyan’s age and his quality, it should be a fair bet that he would surpass the record sometime in the future, and despite everything Gyan deserves commendation.

He is also the only African to score at three world cups, whilst he is the Black Stars all time leading goal scorer with 41 goals.

Meanwhile the Black Stars showed a leap in quality from their opening day loss in their game against Germany.

The 2-2 draw against Germany has vastly improved the chances of the Black Stars of making the World Cup round of 16; providing Portugal beat the USA at 22:00 GMT tonight.

The opening day loss against USA had put Ghana in a precarious position in the tournament, and that coupled with upcoming games against Germany and Portugal meant the Stars World Cup hopes were hanging by a thread. But in a spectacular game in Fortaleza last night, Ghana battled Germany to a draw.

Menaye Donkor is a GODDAM LIAR | The Photo She Shared with Muntari Yesterday Was Taken Ages Ago

Menaye Donkor11
Menaye Donkor’s Instagram

Dear Chris-Vincent,

I just read an article you posted this morning titled ‘Menaye Donkor Wants You to Know That’ and a photo Menaye Donkor shared on Instagram with Sulley Muntari yesterday was used which suggests that Menaye has met Muntari in Brazil.

After looking at the photo, it is clear Menaye Donkor is a liar and she is fake. The photo she shared with Muntari was not taken yesterday or during the Brazil 2014 World Cup.

Please look at the photo well and check the jersey she is wearing together with that of Muntari. That is the old Ghana jersey which is no more in used at this year’s World Cup.

Also, we all saw Sulley Muntari playing in the Ghana Vrs USA and Ghana Vrs Germany matches, he has some bushy hair on. Please look at his hair in the photo Menaye Donkor shared yesterday, making it seem she has met Muntari in Brazil and you will see she is lying.

I am not sure how this escaped you Chris. Why is Menaye Donkor sharing an old photo on Instagram, passing it on as if she just took it recently in Brazil with Muntari?

Menaye Donkor Wants You to Know That…

Since rumours started flying around that Menaye Donkor’s marriage to Ghanaian football star-Sulley Muntari has collapsed, Menaye Donkor has been working extra hard on social media—trying to make a strong statement that her marriage is intact.

She has in the last few days shared several photos and messages, all put forward to discredit the breakup rumour.

Eventually, she made it to Brazil and as expected, she has taken a photo of Sulley Muntari which she posted on Instagram few hours ago—once again, to tell us that they are happily married and nothing is licking deep into your relationship.

We love marriages and we adore Menaye Donkor and Sulley Muntari’s union but over the years, we’ve learnt that; indeed there is no smoke without fire.

When Nadia Buari and Michael Essien’s relationship break-up rumour started flying around, Nadia Buari at the time denied it all—but eventually, the rumour was confirmed and it became a FACT.

Similarly, when drops began falling from unknown sources that Jackie Appiah’s marriage had collapsed and that was the reason why she was not wearing her ring some few years ago, there were several attempts made to make us believe all was in good shape. But with time, we all got to know the truth.

Is it Just Me or Jordan Ayew is Purely SELFISH & Cares About Personal GLORY…?

Jordan Ayew
Jordan Ayew

In what can be described as the best 2014 World Cup match so far, Ghana’s Black Stars fought tirelessly against the German national team- Die Mannschaft, who were tipped to thrash Ghana with ease.

In fact, I was informed a German magazine evaluated the existing statistics and came to the conclusion that, Germany will beat Ghana by 11 goals to nill—that was based on real mathematics. But as we saw yesterday, when it comes to football, leave the calculations to the Leicester University’s College of Mathematics and let hard work, dedication and composure determine the winner.

The Ghana Black Stars had several good chances to leave the pitch with a win against the group leaders-the Germans, but struggled to make good use of these chances.

On top of all the chances was this single one that Jordan Ayew handled the ball along the side ‘throw’ line straight into a scoring yard, where Asamoah Gyan was patiently waiting for that pass which could have placed Ghana in the winning basket—there isn’t any doubt that Asamoah Gyan could not have scored that goal.

But Jordan Ayew who had the ball in his possession showed once again that he is not a mature football player—and does not care about team work or team glory. He wanted the glory for himself and he wanted to go into record books as having also scored at the World Cup alongside his elder brother—so selfishly, he tried scoring, kicking the ball slowly into the hands of the German goalkeeper.
