VIDEO: Yvonne Nelson is Still Defending Her BLEACHED Skin | Are We Not Over This?

Yvonne Nelson
Yvonne Nelson

We have had enough of Yvonne Nelson’s bleaching and her counter claims of not bleaching talks….And yet, she continues to discuss this.

Some of us have made our minds up that home-girl has changed her complexion and no level of discrediting can change this.

Someone who recently worked with Yvonne Nelson on set had to this to say “Chris, I know and saw that Yvonne Nelson has tampered with her complexion but can you guys give her other side a little attention instead of her complexion”.

All the same, Joselyn Dumas sat down with Yvonne Nelson recently for her TV show “@ home with Joselyn Dumas” and as usual, the bleaching talk came flying through.

Yvonne is still hiding behind that defensive wall—when most of us have given up on her complexion. At the end of the day, it is her goddam business—just that we won’t be easily deceived.

I watched the video and the only question I asked myself is;  so Yvonne Nelson is happy with how she looks huh?

Check out what Yvonne Nelson had to say…

Nigerian Woman Kills her Two Kids After Giving Them ‘Holy Water’ from Pastor to Drink

Shocking News
Shocking News

I never understand people’s desperation for spiritual remedies in their lives, a sort of miracle cure to all their ills in this world prescribed to them by a ‘man of God’.

We after all, frown on cheating in any other endeavour of our lives. Yet people seek these spiritual means to give them an advantage over other people, whether for a job, or a husband, or any of those miracles these preachers advertise to us all the time.

A woman in Nigeria found herself in deep anguish today after her actions led to the death of her two kids in Delta State.

The Public Relations Officer of the Delta Police Command, revealed the details of the case in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria.

The woman, 25 year old Ese Oghenevwe, confessed to the Police that she had given a liquid substance she received from church to her two children to drink. The substance was advertised as having healing powers and was sold to members of the congregation for 1,850 Naira (around $10)

The two children, who died shortly after drinking this ‘holy water’, were aged nine months and two years.

The Delta Police Command also announced that the pastor in question, one Apostle Austin Eduviere of Triumphant World International Church in Abraka, had also been arrested and he was assisting the police in their investigations.

Is It Wrong For Celebrities to Consult SPIRITUALISTS For Physical And Spiritual Help? | My Answer Is NO!

Martha Ankomah
Martha Ankomah

It is high time the general public stop being hypocrites and come to terms or understanding that stars or celebrities – whichever discipline they belong to, face or can face both physical and spiritual warfare just as any other person living in this world.

Stars or celebrities are humans and not angels. They also suffer spiritual warfare: spiritual marriage, spiritual disappointments, spiritual sabotage, spiritual illnesses, amongst others. A year ago, Hiplife musician Castro de Destroyer was sent to a prophetess to cure him of a severe illness he was suffering from.

When the story got into the media, many people took the news with shock. ‘Why did he visit a spiritualist,’ ‘Castro has been exposed,’ he visits spiritualists to promote his music, etc. Those were some of the comments that came from some people.

Even when manager of Castro DJ Amess came public to explain that the prophetess is Castro’s personal spiritualist whom the latter visits for spiritual assistance as and when, those who refuse to learn and to change their minds couldn’t see the sense in that.

Another one that caught my attention for this piece is Nigerian actor Jim Iyke who visited spiritualist Prophet T. B. Joshua and was delivered of a spirit that alleged that it had married the movie star – hence his unable to marry. President of Actors Guild of Nigerian Chegune Arinze resorted to the media and said Jim Iyke’s conduct (visiting T. B. Joshua and being delivered before the congregation) is a shame to Nollywood.

My fury – so because Jim Iyke is a celebrity or star, no evil spirit can posses him or torment him?

I still don’t get it! If you and I who are not celebrities can visit a spiritualist to solve a pressing spiritual problem, then leave celebrities who also visit spiritualists for the same purpose alone! If you don’t believe in spiritual matters, I guess you don’t even have to continue reading – because you are living in a world of your own.

This write up is one that if you are a celebrity who has been attacked spiritually before, can relate to and appreciate better. Or if you know of or have a relative or friend who is a celebrity or star and has been through spiritual attacks before, would appreciate better.

TV Presenter-Delay ‘Deloris Frimpong Manso’ Says She is Not the Person in the New Seks Tape Being Circulated | Forget the Resemblance

Delay1
Delay

To be frank, I do not know why Halifax Ansah Addo and Delay will even comment on this, considering the fact that they are certain Delay (real name Deloris Frimpong Manso) is not the woman being banged in a new seks tape circulating around.

Yesterday, I received a video of a woman who somewhat looks like Delay, being given a HOT back shot by a “white man”—and for the 3 times that the face of the woman was shown, I could not miss the Delay resemblance.

For several reasons, I was certain it was not Delay in the video—and almost everyone who saw it said it is not Delay, though there was that striking resemblance.

Someone was even looking to see if there was a gap in the being banged woman’s teeth just as Delay, but nothing of such sort was spotted.

It is therefore shocking that Delay and her team have decided to comment on this when it is obvious that someone is being mischievous. Will they continue commenting when another untraceable bored person somewhere comes up with another resembling video? Certain things are better handled when IGNORED….

Below is what Halifax Ansah Addo, a member of Delay’s PR team had to say (according to NyDJLive);

Interesting Sociological Experiment By Panji Anoff | Yet Ghana is Still Not Ready for Gay Rights

Panji Anoff
Panji Anoff

On Monday June 28, manager of FOKN Bois and CEO of Pidgen Music Panji Anoff, carried out a very interesting sociological experiment on his Facebook timeline. Panji ostensibly ‘came out’, announcing to the whole world that he is gay.

Panji’s post read “I wish to announce today that I am gay, so that all the people who don’t want a gay friend on facebook, can unfriend me now. I will miss you all, but I think it will make my facebook world a better place”

Panji later told Ghanaweb one of his expectations was to weed out false friends from his bloated friends list. He was expecting to lose at least 300-500 friends after the announcement, yet that did not happen.

This prompted him to say, “I thought the mode of discrimination levelled against gay practices would have helped me out and earn the same criticism but that’s not happening. With this feedback, those afraid to make public their sexuality, the impact isn’t as serious as it seems”

This is where I absolutely disagree with Panji, as I feel that is an erroneous conclusion to draw. He has close to 5000 friends yes, but how many of those are Ghanaians? And not disagreeing with something does not imply agreeing with it.

It was an interesting experiment, but it proves nothing about the mindset of Ghanaians towards those of same sex orientation. Just because 300-500 people did not bother to click unfriend on his profile does not in any way gauge the mood of the entire Ghanaian society.

And trust me; Ghana is a long way off from accepting homosexuality as a life choice. I’ve personally heard people talking about how it is a demonic possession, something spiritual and not of this realm. To these people no one in their right minds would sleep with someone of the same sex.

New Music: ‘Beauty No Dey Lie’ By 2Ras

2RAS
2RAS

Talented Ghanaian musician-2Ras (real name Michael Asante), the voice behind the hit singles “My First Love” and ‘Me De Be Bom” is out with another tune-Beauty No Dey Lie—after taking a long musical hiatus.

Leaving behind his comical sharp rap tongue, 2RAS sings it all through on this track, talking about how he wants to hold tight a certain beautiful girl—and how he intend to “dey” with his girl like “bread and butter”.

Reiterating the fact that this girl’s beauty does not lie, 2RAS puts it on the girl to understand him—promising if this African goddess takes him on, he will make the night a worthy one.

Musically, the lyrics are well placed with such a good tempo—this is definitely a song you can play to that special one when you intend to catch her action. “Shody’s body looking like a Rover, I want to jump on it and crash am”.

I already have someone in mind I want to play it to in the car!

Welcome back 2RAS…Are we still going to the Tokyo this year?

Listen to the song below…

My Thoughts…The World in My MIND

Thoughts

From TopVincent.Com

I grew up in Ghana but there is no bit of any of the infamous ridiculous traits of a Ghanaian left in me.

I have always wanted to be intelligent by spending a lot of time trying to understand so many dead men theories, but I recently realised you don’t need to know everything to be intelligent.

Being a man comes with a lot of props but being a woman sounds equally advantageous. Above it all, being a human is more important.

Love without dedication may work for a short time and the ease of having it so is very tempting, but the beauty of love is hidden in the difficult work channeled towards its full enjoyment.

Reading law has taught me a lot about the importance of rules but knowing the rules is not as important as living within it.

I find it difficult to choose between black and red even though black is my favourite. Red always wins because that is her favourite. As if I have any choice.

Beauty and appearance can easily get one into a relationship but the sustainability of any relationship is deeply rooted in intellect and the connection that can continue to create the wild excitement.

Few years ago, I was confronted with the greatest conundrum of either to pursue a postgraduate degree in philosophy or law. Finally, I found myself back in a law school. After all, philosophy creates nothing, says my friend.

I am African well informed by western ideas but shaped by those true African notions which make life a hell of adventure.

While my friends struggled to select a college some years back because there were several good ones at their disposal, I took the easy route by assessing what books my top two colleges offered in English. Mfansimpim offered Animal Farm and Adisadel College offered Things Fall Apart. I will forever be glad Chinua Achebe was such a persuading author.

It is difficult to be a real critic but more difficult to be really criticised. That explains why many love the former but detest the latter.

Sometimes, I miss the sense of hope, comfort and the over-reaching joy of after life that believing in God brings mankind. However, none of these is a true indication that the God hypothesis is really true.

I have ended up with women because of several attributes but it took me just one to realize that, love is best experienced when you let go the rules and allow yourself to go with the flow.

Reflections of An Ordinary Woman – The African in Beauty Pageants

Miss France Beauty Pageant 2010

In the last year, I have been invited to participate in four beauty pageants (as a Producer and not a contestant). And despite the fact that I love (I mean absolutely love) organizing events, I turned all four down. Two of these pageants are renowned and no doubt I would have been handsomely paid for my job.

The other two are less known but still likely to be a great cash maker for the organizers. So why did I, a single mother with children to feed turn down a potentially lucrative deal? Because I am principled and believe not all money is good money. And when you are as principled as I am, believe me, many “good” things will pass you by. But I love the fact that at the end of the day, when I spend my money, I spend it knowing I acquired it through means that do not make me feel ashamed of myself.

So what has all this got to do with beauty pageants? Well let me tell you. Spending money I acquire from organizing a beauty pageant would make me feel so awful about myself because I am against beauty pageants. It would be hypocritical of me, an African woman who is against black people wearing hair weaves as their own hair to organize an event which promotes this very thing. But I must confess, when I first arrived in Ghana and worked as a Copywriter / Producer at (Lowe) Lintas, because Lux soap was one of my brands, I worked on Miss Lux beauty pageant from 1996 -2000.

From conceptualization of the event to scripting to stage management to choreography to Emcee, I have been there, done that and written the book! There it is out. I have confessed and feel better. May the universe forgive me for I did not know any better. You see, back in those days, I was just doing my job. I was writing or choreographing or stage managing an event. What I failed to realize was that I was part of the team now promoting and imposing the Western idea of beauty on Africans. Since I came to this realization in 2000, I vowed to myself never to take part in any more beauty pageants.

In all fairness though even in those days, I always fought for girls with natural hair to be included, but always, always the rest of the team would laugh me off. It is amazing but in organizing a beauty pageant in Africa, for Africans, contestants with natural hair are laughed off and mocked by the African event organizers. Even pageants which claim to be about recognizing true African beauty or the true African woman (Miss Malaika, Miss African Queen, Miss Black is Beautiful) eliminate women with natural hair at the very beginning of the auditions.

I have written and talked about the black woman and her false hair and I think by now you all know where I stand on that issue, so I will not really go into it too much here. But I will say this, it is absolutely pathetic that an African woman’s beauty is defined by the false Brazilian or Indian hair she can afford to weave onto her natural God-given hair!

So let me move on and tell give you other reasons why I no longer organize or produce a beauty pageant. The first reason is beauty pageants have now become the way for uncreative people to make money. Why do I say that? People who organize beauty pageants know that sex sells. Look, how many male beauty pageants are out there compared to the female ones?

And when it comes to beauty pageants for women, who are the contestants? Are they not young girls, normally in tertiary level education? In some instances, it has been known for these young girls to go out and source their own sponsorship. The stories of sexual favours that are demanded before these girls can secure the monies needed to participate are incredible.

Some of the event organizers themselves are in on the act and can be considered no better than a pimp putting his prostitutes to work. I have heard of event organizers who as “publicity” or “PR” for their event take their female contestants to bars and watering holes known as “boys boys” clubs. Now tell me is this not pimping? I mean if we are seriously talking about “publicity” and “PR” why limit taking the female contestants to popular male haunts? Why not take them say to an all girls school?

Dear GC Readers, My Boyfriend Says We Should Try the Other Hole & Because I Said No, He Has Not Touched Me in 4 Months

black woman

Dear GC Readers,

My sex life with my partner of 3 years has hit the rocks as I cannot give to his recent demands. For the past 4 months, we have slept by each other’s side in the same bed as enemies without even cuddling or holding each other.

Things were great and we did a lot together to spice our in bed time. He returned from a holiday in Ghana about 6 months ago and a request I thought he was joking about has become so important to him that, it seems he is not ready to even touch me until I say yes.

He asked me few days after he came from Ghana if I have ever tried it in my other hole and I said, oh no, that is disgusting and unnatural. He asked that we should one day try it which I thought he was joking.

From then, he started bothering me with this anytime we make love, saying, it won’t hurt and I will enjoy it even more than where we do it.

KOD Says His House is Not on FIRE | I Say GREAT But Hold It Well Because There Are Some Indecent Images Out There Alleged to Be You…

KOD and Wife
KOD and Wife

Yesterday, a BEATWAVES publication alleged that media personality-Kofi Okyere Darko popularly known as KOD and her wife-Ophelia Crossland were strongly considering ending their 6 years marriage with their two lovely kids being at a center of a custody battle.

KOD has come out with a message, stating that everything is fine with his marriage and there is nothing for anyone to panic about. He posted the above photo of himself and his wife with the message; “To those who know us and called because you care, thanks for the love but my house is not on fire. Dearest Cross is still the same old warm person and there’s no breakup. We are a happy family

That is great—-and we wish the two a long marriage but this is a perfect opportunity to chip in this, so that KOD will be on alert.

If KOD does not know by now, there are some indecent photos circulating around (I say circulating because the fact that I have them means, somebody else may have them too, I do not want to claim exclusivity) ALLEGED to be him.

I am sure the wife will not be happy if the indecent images alleged to be her husband hit her desk. The person who sent the images to GhanaCelebrities.Com few weeks ago claims, KOD sent them over to her friend he has been chatting to in the USA—and certain screenshots of conversations ALLEGED to be their chat were also attached.

Review: ‘Gidi Up’ is Here with Season 2| A Look at Episodes 1 & 2

Gidi Up
Gidi Up Season 2

To be honest I do not enjoy African productions much, mainly due to well documented reasons most of us are familiar with. I prefer to stick to the western ones, where you find rotten ones as well but at least you find the glass ceiling is a little higher.

The simple truth is if you delve into most of these African TV stories with a critical eye instead of that of a casual viewer, it would not take you ten minutes to start spotting the flaws in the entire production; poorly written stories with inexplicable leaps of logic, amateur acting, poor direction, and a myriad of other issues.

Therefore I tackled this assignment, a review of a Nigerian series-Gidi Up, with the enthusiasm of a man going into bed with a particularly unattractive woman; close your eyes and get it over with as fast as you can. I went in not expecting much, and I must admit got myself blown away by a well written, brilliantly acted show that challenged all my pre-conceived notions about African Productions.

This review covers Episodes 1 & 2 of Season 2, picking up from where season 1 left off. Gidi Up follows the lives of four Lagos socialites as they struggle to make it in that most unforgiving of cities.

Storyline

As mentioned, the story follows four socialites as they strive to make it in a world that is anything but fair. The writers paint a picture that’s relatable to the audience, with themes of friendship, love, and hard choices. No matter what caste or class you find yourself in, whether a socialite in Lagos or a pauper in the slums of Nima-Ghana, these are themes you can identify with.

One of the many problems I’ve found with African productions is the inexplicable leaps of logic, as I mentioned earlier. Often the story takes a turn which you realise is not logical, but merely planted for the purpose of throwing the audience a curveball. These two episodes did not indulge in this guilty pleasure, moving at a logical step yet keeping the audience in a constant state of suspense and anguish.

Whether we are fretting with Obi over his money problems, overjoyed at Tokunbo finally securing funding for his company, or grieving with the three friends at the bedside of the injured Obi; the audience’s emotions is kept in a state of constant flux, making the slightest change in the fortunes of our protagonists keenly felt.

I always love it when cause and effect is applied in movies, and these two episodes had those in abundance. Too often in television, an action that should have serious consequences is overlooked the next week, with the audience left to pretend it never happened in the first place.

Acting

Somekele Iyamah asYvonne immediately catches the eye. Aside being blessed with extraordinary beauty and abundant talent, she has a way of conveying a lot of emotions with facial movement that’s reminiscent of Kerry Washington, but toned down to a believable level.

MISS SUPRANATIONAL GHANA Uses Ministry Of Tourism’s Name As a Sponsor ILLEGALLY – Ministry to Sue Organizers Or Distance Themselves

MISS SUPRANATIONAL GHANA 2013
MISS SUPRANATIONAL GHANA 2013 Winner

The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts is very disappointed and angry at the organizers of Miss Supranational Ghana – for using the ministry’s name as one of its sponsors of the pageant without any official memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two parties; GhanaCelebrities.Com has gathered.

GhanaCelebrities.Com reported on Monday, 28th July, 2014, that allegations reaching us have it that Miss Supranational Ghana could be doing something wrong against its contestants – who allegedly live in fear and timidity in a hotel they are housed at Weija for grooming.

Though we gave the organizers the chance to either confirm or deny the allegations reaching us, they declined. Sensing evil against the contestants, GhanaCelebrities.Com exercised our civic responsibility by reporting the case to the police who have assured us that they shall clamp down on the organizers premises – not to harass them or intimidate them, but to seek explanations regarding the allegations against the organizers.

On Wednesday, 4 June 2014, Ghanaweb published a story on the pageant. In the said publication, the organizer of Miss Supranational Ghana indicated a number of its supporters and included in it, was the Ministry of Tourism. Below is an excerpt of the story (unedited):

“Miss Supranational is brought to you by Lilys House Entertainment and supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Viasat 1 Ghana, Cypress Ghana, 4syte TV, Fotostore, Busy Internet & Sweeties Lounge.

For more enquiries, contact 0244546055 / 0231199525. Miss Supranational… Truly Global, Truly Supranational!!!”

GhanaCelebrities.Com checked from The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts and our findings were that, Madam Lillian Boateng once visited the ministry and introduced her pageant to them but they did not sign any formal memorandum of understanding –giving Madam Lillian Boateng the power and authority to include the ministry’s name in any of the various mass media – websites, blogs, print, television, radio, posters, banners, etc. as a sponsor or supporter of the pageant.

Joselyn Dumas Does Not KNOW About Being a ‘Fashion Ambassador for the Africa Park Show in South Africa’ | Organizers Are in Breach of Her Rights of Publicity

Joselyn-Dumas-1
Joselyn Dumas

Several African celebrities have in the past faced diatribes from their fans for failing to appear at events which they’ve been advertised as guests—when in fact, these celebrities did not even know or had no appearance contract with organizers of such events.

Ghanaian actress/TV personality-Joselyn Dumas has been advertised through several online publications as a Fashion Ambassador for an upcoming event-Africa Park Show to be held in South Africa, starting 19th September to 21st September, 2014—but GhanaCelebrities.Com has gathered; Joselyn Dumas has not been booked for the above appearance.

Speaking to Joselyn Dumas, she mentioned that the organizers made contact with her team to have her at their event but negotiations seems to have failed or have not been concluded. It is therefore shocking that the organizers have proceeded without her consent or any sort of enforceable agreement to use her name in their advertisement as a Fashion Ambassador for their event.

If nothing at all, Joselyn Dumas is worried about the total disrespect the organizers have accorded her brand and their attempt to gain financially by using her face and name in their advertisements, a clear breach of her Rights of publicity.

What most Event organizers do not recognise in Africa is, they can be sued for using someone else’s name, likeness, or other personal attributes without permission for an exploitative purpose—just like the above.

Alfred Woyome to Pay Back 51.2m Ghc Jugdement Debt | On Orders of the Supreme Court

Alfred Woyome
Alfred Woyome

Businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome has been ordered by the Supreme Court to refund the Ghc 51.2m that was paid to him by the state, the infamous Judgement Debt saga.

The court, in a unanimous decision, overturned the verdict of the High Court that awarded Woyome those damages due to a contract he had signed with the government which he claimed had been reneged upon.

The court ruled those contracts, upon which the original judgement were made, as invalid and unconstitutional.

It said the contracts upon which he won his case, “was in contravention to Article 181(5) of the 1992 constitution”. The clause in question, requires Parliamentary approvals of such deals before they are declared as constitutional and consequently, legally binding.

The ruling was a result of self-styled citizen vigilante and former Attorney General, Martin Amidu taking the case to court after claiming the damages awarded to Woyome were illegal.

Earlier this year, Mr Amidu had won similar judgements over Isofoton and Waterville, the two companies at the crux of the long running affair.

Woyome had won his judgement in 2010, but the case had always been one filled with irregularities.

Don’t Be FOOLED | 80% of Women Edit Holiday Snaps Before Sharing On Social Media

blackwoman-ass1
Selfie

I have a friend who will never accept anything he sees in a photo, especially when it has to do with women—unless he actually sees the woman himself.

His argument is, he has been fooled many times by photos women have sent to him—and as such, unless he can do a real life assessment of the situation, he will never buy into whatever is on the table.

And I think my friend has a good point as it has emerged that, 8 out of 10 women ‘edit’ their holiday photos before uploading them to social media so only their slimmest angles are shared.

According to the same research, more than half of women (58 per cent) will remove pictures taken by their husbands or boyfriends to make sure only the most flattering pictures survive.

UPDATE: Police Promises to Clamp Down On Organizers of MISS SUPRANATIONAL GHANA

MISS SUPRANATIONAL GHANA
MISS SUPRANATIONAL GHANA

GhanaCelebrities.Com reported earlier that allegations reaching us show another beauty pageant by name Miss Supranational Ghana could be doing something wrong to its contestants – who live in fear and timidity in a hotel they are housed at Weija for grooming.

To have a fair and balanced story, GhanaCelebrities.Com gave the organizers a chance to address the allegations but they failed to make good use of it. Instead, they insisted we disclose our source and how we got their numbers else they won’t respond.

Though we kindly gave the CEO of the company that organizes the pageant – Lilys House Entertainment, Madam Lillian Boateng, the chance to respond, she only traded tantrums on GhanaCelebrities.Com’s reporter. She failed to either confirm or deny the allegations.

In our professional quest to still have the side of the organizers for publication, GhanaCelebrities.Com visited the office of the organizers on Sunday, 27th July, 2014, but the reporter was nearly lynched.

UPDATE ON THE STORY

Since the allegations against the organizers are wild and borders on human right violations, GhanaCelebrities.Com exercised our civic responsibility by reporting the case to the police who have assured us that they shall clamp down on the organizers premises – not to harass them or intimidate them, but to seek explanations regarding the allegations against the organizers.

The police added that, if at the end of the day it becomes expedient for them to cause arrest, or seek a court injunction to stop the organizers from going on with the pageant, they shall do so.

One of the fallouts of Ghana’s shambolic world cup campaign was the suspension of star duo Kevin Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari. Whilst Sulley would surely be back, as this isn’t the first time he has been suspended from the Stars, Boateng’s case is a little less clear cut.

This is because he was apparently one of the ring leaders in the ‘$3m’ fiasco, and also got into an altercation with the coach. Since his suspension, he also held an interview in which he basically burned all his bridges with the Football Association.

So I was very surprised when he held an interview with German magazine Bild, in which he left a slim hope hanging for a Stars’s return. He told the magazine ”I would reconsider the subject, if someone approaches me”

Leaving aside the condition that someone might never approach him, I think it’s time we admitted this Boateng experiment has been a failure and move on. This relationship has never been a love affair, but a mutually beneficial exploitative arrangement; those never last, and it’s time we admit this partnership has run its course.

Boateng initially wanted to play for Germany, he only considered Ghana because he wasn’t good enough to crack the German side, and he took the chance to appear at the world cup. Afterwards, when his performances with the Black Stars earned him a deal with Italian giants A.C Milan, he promptly retired from the Black Stars.

His reason; his body couldn’t handle the dual pressures of playing for both club and country. That has got to be lamest excuse ever; every footballer worth his salt plays for both club and country, so why is Prince so special?

The real reason, of course, was that there was a lengthy qualifying process to navigate and he wanted nothing to do with it. When qualification was all but sealed, who comes out of international retirement to take all the glory? I give you one guess as to who it is.
