Ghana is FOR SALE, Who Wants to Buy? | The Chinese, the Koreans or the Americans?

Ghana is for sale
Ghana is for sale

A country that cannot hold its economy together and provide for its own citizens to live in dignity as humans is not worth being labelled a nation. And such is the state of Ghana, with the hope of the citizens waking up tomorrow to a better state of affairs diminishing as each second passes…

The citizens have cried and continue to cry—but nothing seems to be getting better as the economic dances Azonto with its broken legs, while in free fall from the sky, uncaused by the actions of anybody—because no one even knows why things have turned out this way.

The leaders Ghanaians elected have disappointed us—from the lowest to the highest office of the land, every man in leadership comes up as confused as those we find in-between the gap.

The national currency-Cedi which largely dictates the direction of the economy has become valueless, with £1 measuring close to 6 cedis, when not long ago, a pound was equivalent to 2 cedis…

We’ve witnessed long nights of boring political talks, the promise of a total shake up “if you vote for me” has many times been heard with no accompanying shake up when those who make the promise are put in power.

Ghanaians have patiently waited for 4 years after another to come, hoping for the promised change to take effect—and each election has brought misery, dry pockets, unbearable hardship and unending struggles.

At this stage, anyone who entertains the slightest hope for a better Ghana to be achieved with Ghanaians as our leaders must be smoking in a thick cloud of confusion, probably high on some illegal product with no sense of reality.

Anyone who calls Ghana a failed State at this point must have been bought with several bags of the valueless cedi, which Ghanaians loath to have in their pockets as the cedi can’t purchase much of anything on the market.

Those who held Ghanaian citizenship with pride when they had access to alternative citizenships are giving up, renouncing their Ghanaian citizenship—as they try to flee from the unbearable economic and social hardship, more importantly, the disgrace.

I was not shocked when it emerged earlier today that about 817 Ghanaians renounced their Citizenship in the year 2013 as against 39 foreigners who applied to be Ghanaians. I can’t even understand those 39 foreigners who wanted to be Ghanaians, I bet 38 of them were researchers and the remaining person was in a state of confusion—took Guyana for Ghana.

Ghana has lost all it stood for, the energy the country once contained and the prospects of progress that overshadowed the country have all disappeared, paving way for “rule by jokers” and “leadership without accountability”.

The Posters + Do You Support Ama K Abebrese’s ‘Anti-Bleaching’ Campaign?

Ama K Campaign 2
Ama K Abebrese’s Love Your Skin Tone Campaign

Many people have lauded Ama K Abebrese for being daring and for having the courage to stand up against skin bleaching in an industry dominated by marked skin changes both home and abroad.

It is not easy to have so many friends and colleagues who are guilty of the very crime you seek to eradicate. I am sure some of her colleagues have given her the side eye and grumbled about her nerves in her absence but let me tell you something interesting I overhead at an industry meeting.

There are people who believe this campaign is uncalled for because what adults choose to do with their skin is their business.

Others think she is deliberately trying to piss off or jab at the people who we know have bleached up a little and a lot…I will leave out names. We all know them!

Ama K Abebrese Campaign1
Ama K Abebrese’s Love Your Skin Tone Campaign

Do you think there is truth to this? Do you think that she is deliberately and subtly sending a message to specific people? Are you one of the people who are supporting her campaign or do you think she just needs to leave people alone because after all, she also has her sins?

I also heard another person say Ama K would have lightened too if she had a chance but she is too popular and everybody knows her skin colour already so she cannot do it…

Oh Damn…Polygamy is not a SIN Says Apostle Apostle Micah Addai | Meaning Janet Bandu & Those of Us Sharing People’s Husband/BFs Have Done Nothing Wrong…

dating-same-man

Dear Chris-Vincent,

I cannot swear on my life that I have not slept with someone’s husband or boyfriend before—and I am yet to find a woman who can honestly swear by both the new and old gods that she has not done this either…

Over the last few weeks, GhanaCelebrities.Com has been taken over by certain hypocrites who seem to claim that, it was sinful, immoral or somewhat unacceptable that Janet Bandu who died with Castro in a Jet Ski accident was the musician’s mistress.

Interestingly, most of these people who expressed the above views were women and I call them hypocrites because in life, no where has it been written that it is unlawful to sleep with an adult who consents to sleep with you, either married or not.

For some people, sleeping or having an affair with a married man is a SIN and against the Bible, forgetting that the Bible does not condemn polygamy.

I know one of the Ten Commandments say, “thou shall not commit adultery”. And for one to commit adultery, the person must be married so if I am not married, and the man is married but wants to commit adultery, what has that got to do with me? He may have sinned but I have done nothing wrong or sinful.

Connecting the above to Janet Bandu’s case (that is indeed if she was Castro’s mistress), Castro was the sinful person and not her.

Again, Apostle Micah Addai, presiding pastor of Association of 7th Day Pentecostal Church at Adeababa in the Ashanti Region has come out to say that, there is nothing wrong with polygamy and that it is not a sin to be polygamous.

The above means that, if a man has a girlfriend and he decides he wants more girlfriends and therefore comes in for me, it is not a sin in the sight of God. So all those women arguing exclusivity are just some jealous individuals who want something for themselves alone—and not that, there is any sin or curse stationed for a girl who decides to share their men’s joy and wealth.

My Recent Encounter: ‘Why Are U Not Married? | Are You Just Picky or Your Character Does Not Match Your Face’?

black woman

I sincerely don’t know why some men jump to a hypothetical conclusion that an unmarried lady in her 30s has a flaw which is driving men away from her.

The ‘kind’ ones will keep probing to know why you’re not in your husband’s house and what makes it annoying or fascinating is these men who are in their 40s, are not married themselves ….see pot calling kettle black. They think they’re flawless and their excuse is – they’re still searching for that ‘special woman’. I don’t buy that excuse because really, it doesn’t take a man that long to make up his mind that he’ll like to marry A or B.

A man asked me why I was not married and even before I’ll answer, he asked if I’m too picky or my face ‘doesn’t match my character’…. But really who is not picky? Everyone is picky; some to our own detriment. We don’t just go on the street and take a man/woman and marry them nor do we all want to say I do to every Jack, June and Jade because we are getting ‘older’.

I asked why he was not married since he’s vested so much interest in my ‘singlehood in adulthood’. He claimed he wants to make the right choice by ‘really looking’ because he doesn’t want any woman to give him hypertension. Ahh, so we deserve hypertension so we have to jump on any man and stand on his neck to marry us because we want to answer Mrs?

Kim Kardashian look alike1
Kim Kardashian and Claire Leeson

Love or hate her,one thing you cannot deny is Kim Kardashian’s influence on social media and on youth culture. She is literally like an uncontrollable fire. People clamor to devour details of her private life. Eager to know what she is doing at what time including her family who has been sucked into her cash spinning life.

To think that Kim used to be a mere assistant to Paris Hilton is amazing…

It is obvious that many young women wish they looked like Kim Kardashian for obvious reasons. Though some have resigned themselves to being content with what they cannot change, some fans will do anything to look like her. I am shocked how good plastic surgery is these days that someone can get almost exactly what they want if they are willing to roll out the money needed.

Take a look at this interesting woman who dropped a whooping 30,000 dollars just to look like Kim Kardashian.

Big Demonstration to Hit Washington Next Week: Ghanaians in USA to Protest Economic Hardship

blank

Talking about the hardship in Ghana is almost a cliché by this point it feels like beating a dead horse. Yet a group of Ghanaians living in the USA, Ghanaians Against Bad Governance, have announced a protest for next Wednesday July 23.

The group, who describe themselves as a ‘non-partisan’, say they are interested in the economic and social well being of the people of Ghana.

Ghanaians yesterday had to re-adjust to an increase in petroleum prices, and consequently transport fares, as the economic deterioration showed no signs of abating.

The protest is slated for the Ghanaian embassy in Washington and is set to kick off at 0900 local time and would conclude with the presentation of a petition intended to be forwarded to the Government of Ghana.

This protest follows on the heels of similar ones going on in Ghana currently, such as the Occupy Flag Staff House and Red Friday protests.

Ghanaians Against Bad Governance counts amongst their ranks Ghanaians of diverse background living in the United States, who believe that the Government has to deliver on the promises they made to the people of Ghana.

Stretch Forth Your Hand; Pastors Are in Dire Need of Deliverance!

Woman Among Lit Votive Candles

It seems most pastors nowadays, especially from the mushrooming Pentecostal churches, are failing to live righteously, are getting caught in the ‘enemy’s’ snare and are struggling to get out and since Christians are working tirelessly to make heaven, why don’t we love our neighbour as ourselves and deliver these pastors from their demons?

Sadly, almost all the time, these types of failures involve sexual sins and they leave trails of destruction behind. Some of us rate their power according to their ‘magical works’ and the types of demons (which unfortunately returns all the time) they cast out in the name of deliverance but the question is, since they are humans like me and you, who exorcises and deliver them from demons? For a pastor to impregnate ladies in his church and say the Holy Spirit directed him to do it is…….

Some of these men started out as wonderful, consecrated, enthusiastic ministers who set out to serve the Lord with pure hearts. When it got to a point where they got fed up of storing their treasures in heaven (in fact heaven is too distant for them); they opened themselves up to demons to work through them. Their demons are many but notable among them is greed, robbery, pride, lasciviousness, murder (they killed God, displaced ‘His’ body and became the gods in our lives). They keep telling us to look up to God to provide for our every need and whilst looking up, they look down at us to provide for their every need – from the basic to the vain! In fact, they’re in dire need of deliverance.

They avoid the biblical truths about suffering, contentment, humility, giving up the world, repentance and even sin; but focus on blessings, prosperity, success, breakthrough, tithes, first fruits, advancement – simply put, they are indwelt by worldly ambitions and these kind of teaching is drawing people into social vices and gets rich schemes because ‘it’s a curse to be poor and poverty is a disease’.
