LAUGH OUT LOUD: These Guys Are Everywhere | I Got CHEATED By One of Them…

I am sure we’ve all met these guys and sometimes women who come to in the street with some ridiculous stories of having been stranded and therefore need just a bit of coins to help them go to whatever destination they put at the end of their stories.

Less than two months ago, I was approached by a certain young man who spoke fluent Twi and English (in his thick British accent) at Tottenham in North London—and he had a story of having been abandoned there by his friends.

He said he needed £10 to be able to get a taxi home and considering the fact that he was a disable, I gave him a £10 note and we even chatted for few minutes about where he comes from in Ghana…

After handing over the money, I went back into my car to get my charger and when I saw him again (within 5-10 minutes), he was holding two cans of beer—and this was around 10am.

I looked at him and walked away. I really didn’t care about what he used the money for because I felt sorry for him and gave it to him. But I felt cheated in a way; because this guy must think he is the smartest dude…

Immediately he saw me again, he started saying one of his friends is on the way to get him so he wouldn’t have to take the taxi anymore. I just looked at him and walked off.

Now, watch the below video and see what happens to one of such con men on our streets.

  1. hahahahah serves him right. it happened to me sometime ago. Lady asked for such assistance which I did by taking her to the trotro station to pay for her fare only for her to tell me she’s not in a hurry to go home and that she is waiting for her sister.

  2. Hahahaha…. it happened to me too few years ago. This is my story; I went to the grocery store to buy food items. As soon as I came outside with my grocery bags, I saw a well dressed middle aged man saying “excuse me sir” “excuse me sir” may I talk to you for a second? I said sure, go ahead. I put the bags down and gave him all the attention in the world. The man told me a very sad story, and how he needed $27 to solve it. In fact, I felt soo sorry for him that I gave him the money. Few weeks after that, the same man saw me and started telling me the same story again. I was shocked. I couldn’t believe it, and am thinking maybe he don’t recognize me. By the way, the moment I realized that he was a scammer- so many thoughts were running through my head; should I let this man know that he lied to me few weeks ago and took $27 from me? Or I should just try to get my money back? Or just ignore him? Your guess is as good as mine. Sometimes scammers deserved to be scammed.
