Before I jump into boring or exciting you with the hell of a weekend I had, let me ask this; am I the only one who hates Mondays? I understand Mondays will always come but it is getting to a stage where the hate is turning into fear.
Each Monday will be followed by 4 long days of slavery for some company I hate—but I guess the bills must be paid so I have to keep feeling this way until I find an alternative, win the lottory or Chris-Vincent decides to pay me more so I can quit my day job…LOL
Anyway, my weekend was awful and awkward and I wish this does not repeat itself, else I will go crazy.
I’ve met this fine man (he seemed fine until I changed my mind on Saturday night) and after talking for few days, he decided to take me out.
And after spending my whole day painting my nails, looking for what to wearing by sending photos to friends to help me choose, I waited for this man all dressed up till 10pm only for him to call briefly to cancel the dinner. And he did not even give an excuse. You know what I did? Deleted his number and I wish he reads this.
That was my Saturday all messed up by another loser of a man!
Since I was upset, I had some wine at home and woke up pretty late on Sunday. I woke up to about 7 miss calls from my girl friends who wanted us to have lunch at a popular Ghanaian food joint in Accra. I was starving, so that was a God sent plan for me.
We got there and somehow, the conversation landed on sex-life. This is where the awkwardness came looking for us all. Even as of today, talking about anything sex in Ghana is still a taboo and it is worse if 5 female friends decide to do the talking over food.
Can you imagine that apart from the short and long eye looks we got, some couple who were seated next to us had to move seats? It is not that we were shouting or being profane, they just didn’t like the fact that women were having such a conversation.
The food was good but the reception destroyed the conversation so we quickly left and went home to watch some boring TV.

Good you have brought this back. This man does not deserve your attention so good you deleted him. I hate men who treat women without no respect and cancel last minute whatever the excuse is I dont accept it.
I did nothing much on Saturday except to stay in bed and watch some youtube videos on make up. I love some vbloggers so I check them out once a week.
On Sunday I went to the mall with my cousin and her son. We ended up at McDonald because of the son. I have not been at MC for years so I was shocked prices for their food is gone up so much lol.
The I got home to do some cleaning that was long over due and made some light soup which I will be sipping on all week. So my weekend was not much of an adventure like yours. Maybe boring lol
I work on saturdays so I have only Sunday for a weekend. I get so tired from the 6 days a week work that I sleep only on Sundays and this weekend was no different. I only got up to eat some pizza I brought from work in the afternoon and went straight to sleep.
Doing night shifts can be so messed up. It feels good and jealous to read some of you are able to have activities on weekend. I pray for that too.
I managed to watch a comedy on Sunday night.
I fought with my mom..she told me not to sit in her car with her to church so I had to walk around looking for a job.

I had a good weekend but I’m having a crappy Monday. Went to the cinema with my sweetheart on Saturday evening to watch hercules and went to a bbq party on Sunday. Sorry GC family but I just want to rant lol. I’ve been looking for a room to rent since God knows when and people are so racist! Racism is alive and well. It hasn’t been easy with life! Anyway if anyone is looking to rent a room or a one bedroom flat in london or if you know anyone please let me know. Thanks.

Oh I just read you are in London. I moved out of London ages. Ask Chris he may want to rent your room lol. Just kidding but rooms in London are expensive still? I used to pay 350 pounds those days for a single room near East London university in Stratford. I bet it is about 500 pounds now
Lol I meant to say I’m looking for a room to rent so if anyone knows someone who wants to rent a room or their flat then they should let me know or even if someone wants to buddy up so we can rent a flat together then that will be cool. It’s more than 500 pounds now for just one room. It’s not easy oh

Hi Sasha I don’t mind West Norwood as long as it’s a nice area with amenities and easier to get to central London. I live in East London so don’t know much about the other parts of London. I’m still learning lol. Thanks for replying

Everybody hates monday and for me, the hate kicks in on Sunday evening around 6pm when I know I can’t drink or anything because I have to wake up early for work. Monday really sucks.
My weekend was all in affair for me this week. I had two friends coming over on Saturday so we have 3 bottles of wine to wash down a chinese take away we ordered.
We also watched inbetweeners 1 as the 2 is coming to the cinema soon and we want to go out there to watch together.
One of my friend’s heart has been broken so we spent good number of hours cursing boys and pointing out how childish most guys are today.
Sunday was Church affair for me and my partner and back home to chill on the sofa.
Yeah, everyone hate Mondays nowadays..lol idky; Especially we College students & workers..It’s gud we r atleast on vac now but yeah; had a nice weekend, online movies on Saturday, church on Sunday #DatAll
the first part of my weekend was good.. hung out with my girls and chilled at home and facetimed with some friends… my sunday was going well, went to church, came home and chopped my mom’s fufu!!! 🙂 and then here is when my evening got bad.. my mom fell down and kinda dislocated her kneecap.. been in hospital ALL day… crappy way to end the weekend 🙁 but God is in control
