Ghanaians were given yet another reason to smile alongside celebrating this year’s Independence Day. The night of 6th March saw the premiere of the much anticipated and star-studded movie – ‘Devil in a Dress’ at the Silverbird Cinemas (Accra Mall and Weija). A cross section of the holiday celebrants made it to the cinema halls to catch the glimpse of the movie.
Not only was the premiere of ‘Devil in a Dress’ a success in Ghana, but in Nigeria as well. The producer of the movie, Kafui Danku, who featured in the movie as well, was on Peace FM’s Entertainment Review this afternoon to talk about the movie.
According to Kafui, the movie, which is on high demand by both Ghanaians and non-Ghanaians will be made available to the general public on DVDs this coming Friday (29th August, 2014). This is to ensure that all movie lovers who did not have the opportunity to attend the premiere get the chance to own a copy and watch the high-rated movie for themselves.
“’Devil in a Dress’ was premiered and showed at the Silverbird Cinemas for a long time but it’s now ready on DVD which is coming out this Friday so I will plead with everybody to go and get a copy for him’herself when it’s finally out”, Kafui stated.
