3 Year Old Kindergarten Pupil in Ghana Wants to Be an Armed Robber in Future So He Can Be Rich

Well it is always a good thing when kids display ambition, though this three year old kid seems to have taken his to an extreme level, shocking everyone who was present when he made this solemn declaration.

Daily Guide reports that the District Chief Executive of Asuogyaman in the Eastern Region, Thomas Ampem Nyarko, had the shock of his life when a very young pupil responded to the question of “what do you want to be in future?”

The DCE and his entourage where on a tour of some schools in his district, on a program dubbed ‘My First Day at School’; which was embarked on annually to distribute some books and soft drinks to schools within his catchment area.

In an interaction with some pupils at one of the schools, the DCE asked the kid the question, who responded with his certainly unique answer of ‘armed robber’.

His reason was that he wanted to become rich; although when asked if he knew what armed robbers did the kid remained enigmatically silent.

The DCE subsequently encouraged the pupils to take their education seriously, as that was the certain route to success, and that there are no shortcuts to being rich.

I humbly disagree, there are; though most of them are illegal.

Anyway the shocked DCE apparently issued directives to the local Guidance and Counselling GES unit, to carry out a psychological evaluation of the kid and send it to his office for any further action that might be taken.

I feel either that kid is much sharper than they are giving him credit for, or it’s just an unfortunate incident due to him picking up the wrong word; either way I find it incredibly amusing.

Seeing as how he was talking to a politician, and was worried about getting rich in future, he could have just said politician and saved everyone the headache. That achieves his core aim of getting rich without any of the controversy; whilst not diverting him off-course from his initial dream.
