      • plz i was just being sarcastic, cuz the writer of this article used the title traditional engagement and we African’s and Ghanaian’s for that matter know that this is our way of getting married. I am mocking the writer so he or she can change the title to marriage not engagement. i hope this has answered your above statement

          • No dear, that is not a traditional attire at all. She is wearing a western styled, European cut dress, although some traditional Ghanaian fabrics are weaved in. It is the styling and cut that determines whether an attire is western or traditional. Take the groom for instance, he is wearing what we call “Babariga” or “Buba & Shokoto” in Naija and even if the entire material is western material, it will still be a traditional dress because of the styling
