Ukip’s leader Nigel Farage says the UK should control both the quality and quantity of immigration—something he will do if his party is voted into power.
It is not that his party will anytime be voted into power but to suggest that people with HIV should not be allowed into Britain is preposterous—and wouldn’t that be against their Human Rights?
According to Farage, the medical condition of people seeking to come into Britain must be considered and he is not talking about not allowing Ebola infected persons into the country—rather people with HIV.Speaking to Newsweek Europe, Farage said it was wrong that the ‘chances of admission’ of highly qualified engineers from India were limited—which we agree but he added ‘Ukip want to control the quantity and quality of people who come’.
As if he was saying something brilliant, when asked whether ‘quality’ meant people without a homicide conviction, he replied; ‘Yes. And people who do not have HIV, to be frank. That’s a good start’.
So what about the British citizens with HIV? Should they be allowed to travel into the countries of others? We guess he will say yes—after all, they are superior human beings in his mind.
Perhaps, when he comes into power, he will even check how white your teeth are before granting you entry or visa into the UK.

HIV is a very serious medical condition. To say it’s ok for people with it to go anywhere they want as if it isn’t contagious is in actual fact preposterous.
To joke about white teeth just shows how stupid the ‘journalist’ is.
Anyone with a normal functioning brain would only want people that can benefit their country to come in.
And, yes, he would happily let British people woth HIV leave as it would make Britain more safe of the spread. He wouldn’t say other countries should let them in, obviously, but he just wants what’s the best for his country, like any clever person thinks.
But once again, why does UK have to keep letting people from all over the world come there?! There are 195 countries in the world – europe and USA aren’t the only places to go.
