CAF Sounding Out Nations To Host Next Nations Cup After Morrocco Threatens Withdrawal | Ghana On List of Possible Hosts

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) seems oblivious to the Ebola epidemic sweeping across parts of the continent, and somewhat pig-headedly are insisting on organising the Cup of African Nations next year.

Morocco asked the confederation to postpone the tournament over fears of the virus, but they replied that the tournament would go on in January regardless. The North Africans are reportedly not happy, and are considering withdrawing as hosts; although official confirmation is yet to arrive.

As a pre-emptive move, CAF is sounding out the possibility of new hosts, including hosts of the 2013 tournament South Africa, and Ghana.

Youth and Sports Minister Mahama Ayariga has confirmed receipt of a letter from the confederation, and said they are looking at two issues before considering the bid: the cost of hosting the tournament and the health issues Morocco themselves are raising.

According to reports; the 87 pupils of Howden-le-Wear Primary School in County Durham were due to welcome the teacher as part of an annual programme with a school in Ghana but the headteacher has been pushed to cancel the arrangements because some parents have threatened to remove their children.

‘Amazing’ New Load Shedding Time Table From ECG | Ghanaians to Go Without Power For 24 Hours Every Other Day

As if the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has not shown us enough wickedness, they’ve announced a new load shedding exercise that is set to infuriate even the most docile of Ghanaians.

A new arrangement is set to see the ordinary Ghanaian go without electricity for 24 hours every other day. The old arrangement was for lights out for 12 hours out of every 48 hours.

The explanation is that the old time table was drawn with a deficit of 480 megawatts of power, but that a recent extra deficit of 140 megawatt has precipitated this new schedule.

There is so much wrong with letting Ghanaians go for twenty straight hours without power that I do not even know where to begin. Inasmuch as they need to conserve power in the face of these challenges, the comfort of the people of Ghana should be a primary concern for such a major service provider.

The first day I met the commissioner of the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice-Ms Lauretta Vivian Lamptey, my heart jumped like a cat over the wall.

The woman is “sooooo beautifully beautiful.” Her beauty reminds me of a Kumawood movie where Lil Win and Kweku Manu were public toilet executives (let’s polish their job a little and stop calling them latrine boys. After all watchman has changed to security and ashawo has been updated to female diplomatic escorts. They are all ashawo masa.).

In the movie, anytime a nice lady came to use the facility they asked her “enti woni?” Ms Lauretta Vivian Lamptey is so beautiful I keep asking myself “enti ɔni anaa?” (Does she use the toilet?)

No wonder her skin looks that beautiful. Reading her profile I can tell she has and is still enjoying all the good things and times life can provide. Her father was a prominent Ghanaian diplomat. She attended Aburi Girls. She attended University of Ghana. She attended London School of Economics. She attended Ghana Law School. She chaired the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, one of the most important UN Human Rights bodies. She worked with the Minerals Commission, Valco, Ecobank, you name it and she was there.

The only thing Ms Lauretta Vivian Lamptey has not achieved in life is a house of her own. According to an interview I heard someone that sounded like her grant to a radio station, she does not own a house. Madam I beg why? I have a friend who went for sakawa and was asked not to build a house or risk dying. Even he built a house and died. Please why don’t you have a house? What do you use your money? Or are you anti house? I have a feeling this woman is lying…

Wiz Khalifa and Future hit an all-time low as they team up to diss their exes, Amber Rose and Ciara on a new song ‘P**sy Overrated’. The track was produced by Mike Will Made-it.

This is so low and lame from Wiz and Future. I’m not surprised by Wiz Khalifa’s actions since his breakup with Amber. I always thought he is messed up, but for Future, I’m really shockprised he could hit that low. Few months ago he was singing praises of Ciara, calling her his ‘trophy’ and now her p–sy is so overrated? It is rather obvious he ‘butthurted’ and bitter Cici broke up with him.
