A Paedophile Gay Doctor or a Very Wayward Son?

Doctor Sulley Ali-Gabass
Doctor Sulley Ali-Gabass

Who has not at this point heard about Doctor Sulley Ali-Gabass the infamous doctor who is now simply known as the Gay Doctor in Ghana? I mean the married medical doctor who sodomized a 16 year old boy who has been named as Aziz for the purpose of keeping his identity protected.

That story has been made the central headlines over and over again for the past few days. Two days ago I heard the doctor had been arrested and refused bail while being held in custody till investigations are concluded.

In all this, Doctor Gabass has had his face splashed all over the news in every medium. The young man however does not even have his real name out there.

Many are the sympathizers of Doctor Gabass who is a senior medical doctor at Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Takoradi. He is supposed to be a very good doctor for that matter as many people have spoken out about how well he has attended to them in the past. I actually read one woman say he saved her life once in the middle of the night when she was bleeding to death. But hey, isn’t that a doctors job?

Kim Kardashian Celebrates 34th Birthday at Tao Night Club in Vegas

Kim Kardashian Celebrates Her Birthday At TAO Nightclub At The Venetian Hotel And Casino
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West

From BeyondGossip.Com

Kim Kardashian actually turned 34 on October 21, but celebrated her birthday with a party on Friday night (October 24) at Tao nightclub in Vegas.

The famous socialite was surrounded by her husband, Kanye West, mom Kris Jenner, siblings and a host of close friends.

Even though Kim was celebrating her birthday, she didn’t look her best. She donned a white dress with a plunging neckline showing off her boobies. Last night was probably the worst I’ve seen of Kim in 2014.

Her hubby, Kanye was however looking great as he gave a rare smile.

Peep more photos of Kim Kardashian’s birthday bash at Tao night club after the jump…

Another Ghanaian Woman’s Perspective on Nigeria-Part 3

CLICK HERE TO READ PART 1 & HERE TO READ PART 2

A few weeks ago, whilst driving to work, I turned my dial to 92.30 fm and since then it has remained there. Each morning after devotion, my exercise session and food preparation I am always left feeling exhausted with little enthusiasm for the day. But thanks to inspiration fm, whose morning show between 6.30 and 7.00 always ensures I am revamped for the job ahead. Don’t hesitate to tune in anytime you are in Lagos or even online from anywhere in the world.

Whilst in Ghana, I was so in love with the yoghurt drink, Hollandia, and it is only weight gain that managed to tear us apart. Now that I am based in the country of its production, it is like jumping from frying pan to fire. I didn’t even know they had the pineapple flavour till I got here. To make matters worse La Casera (the apple sparkling drink) is as common as sachet water here and Fayrouz (tastes like Alvaro), the Chivita and Five Alive brands follow suit. I was so grateful when a close friend of mine asked if I wanted to join her in fasting. I decided to abstain from sugar, drinks included and that is how I have managed to control my cravings.

For those females looking to relocate to Nigeria, kindly do a wardrobe sweep to get rid of those scanty pieces you have. Trust me, despite their glamour and deep fashion sense, Nigerians are very conservative. Do not be fooled by what you see on television. You will see a number of them covering their hair when going to church or using shawls to cover their legs when they sit down. There is little tolerance for visible fleshy body parts especially with regards to married women and any daring female is viewed as not coming from a good home. As much as husbi always says I should just be myself, I have reserved a lot of those pieces for his viewing pleasure only. When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

This is just a brief point to let you know that you are not alone in the crappy service you sometimes get from Ghanaian telecom companies.Your brothers and sisters here in Nigeria are facing the same situation if not worse. Thank you.

‘If You Got the Opportunity to Be On BBA You Might Get N*ked Yourself’-DKB Tells Ghanaians

DKB

There has been a lot of brouhaha over how the insanely popular reality show Big Brother Africa is losing its essence, and how it has turned more into an avenue to promote ‘seks’ and immorality.

The interesting thing about this to me though, is that those who complain still keep watching. If you are so bothered maybe stop watching and find something else to occupy your time.

Anyway, Derrick Kobina Bonney, or DKB, one of Ghana’s former representatives on the show has laid into the members of the public who keep complaining about the show. To him BBA is about more than just n*dity and immorality, but it’s a big opportunity to market yourself which people try to do through any means possible.

DKB was speaking on Radio Universe and said he had the same complaints before entering the house.

“People who are always complaining about the n*kedness would stop complaining if they get the opportunity to enter the house. The main focus of the show is about you and your personality not the n*ked scenes”

Both US Nurses Who Contracted Ebola from Liberian Thomas Duncan Declared Free of the Virus | What Can Ghana Learn from That?

Nurse Nina Pham Meets President Obama
Nurse Nina Pham Meets President Obama

It seems the United States is extremely well prepared to win their war on Ebola.

The deadly hemorrhagic fever has killed over 4,500 Africans since the genesis of this latest outbreak, but for the United States every single case has been beaten back with the victim declared virus free a short time after contracting the infection.

Nurses Nina Pham and Amber Vinson both got infected whilst caring for Thomas Eric Duncan, the Liberian who carried the virus onto US soil and died shortly thereafter. Both were immediately placed into quarantine and received specialist care which seems to have helped in containing the infection.

US health officials have declared both free of the virus, with test retuning negative results for Ebola in their blood. Nina Pham has already been released and even met with President Obama hours later, whilst Amber would remain in treatment for a while longer in Atalanta.

Old and New HIPLIFE, Which One Rocks?

Reggie Rockstone
Reggie Rockstone

When Reginald Osei, popularly called Reggie Rockstone masterminded the Hiplife movement, little did he know he was creating an avenue of limitless possibilities. Decades down the line, the genre (an amalgamation of Hiphop and Highlife) has been sustained through diverse ways, aptly through the creativity and dexterity by its crusaders.

Chicago and Ex-doe arguably raised the bar a bit higher and spurred the youth. Nananom, a group comprising of Barima Sydney, Omahane Pozo and Jotti joined the bandwagon. The boisterous Nima based group called VIP and Lord Kenya took over with their sharp lyrics. Then came in the man often regarded as the best Hiplife artiste of all time; Obrafuo. These artistes churn out hit songs that were highly appreciated and assimilated comprehensively by all.

Pundits and ‘Highlife custodians’ predicted the fall of Hiplife years ago. On the contrary, Hiplife keeps on growing and breaking frontiers. Almost all international awards chalked by Ghanaian musicians are Hiplife musicians or their works influenced by Hiplife.
