Nayele Ametefeh

If you’ve not already read it, the Ghanaian woman-Nayele Ametefeh aka Rubby Appiah who was arrested in London few days ago carrying 12.5kilos of cocaine, worth about 5 million dollars says she thought she was carrying Gold instead.

So let’s assume she is telling us the truth—which means, her gold somehow turned into cocaine because it was too cold in London. WTH!

Anyway, a GhanaCelebrities.Com reader just sent in these photos, alleged to be the woman at her balling days—now her butt is all frozen at British jail, awaiting a Court appearance on 27th November, 2014.

Whatever it is; kids do not do drugs—those private jets, first class travels and others may not be for everyone.

Some other photos were added but they are too explicit to be published—she had some tattoos above her butt, and she was all n*ked

Indeed Ghanaian Celebrities Are Also Paparazzi | Joselyn Dumas in London

Joselyn Dumas
Joselyn Dumas

Few weeks ago, Chris-Vincent wrote an article titled ‘Ghanaian Celebrities Turned Paparazzi…Who Leads the Race?’ and in the article, he stated among other things that;

“Interestingly, our celebrities want to have things done like it is done in Hollywood or any of the countries with a proper celebrity/pop culture. They desperately desire to be photographed when shopping, when at the airport and when driving in town—obviously, to have these photos published on the blogs or in print.

But since no one really cares and we are not there yet, these celebrities have become their own paparazzi; posing for photos while at the airport, while shopping or while out and about. Mostly, they beg any one passing by or a friend to take the photos which they then tweet or put on their instagram pages…”

And shockingly, Joselyn Dumas is still in the game—-as these photos show. The actress landed at Heathrow Airport for Friday’s London premiere of ‘Love or Something Like That’ and it looks like she paid someone to follow her around taking photos of her—the Kim Kardashian style.

We all know no paparazzi was following her or will even notice her, yet here we are with these photos—and the question is; all this for WHAT?

Sandra Ankobiah, Yvonne Nelson, Christabel Ekeh and others can be excused for this but Joselyn is a grown ass woman who we think should not be doing this.

It’s Either There Are More Ghanaian Women in the Cocaine Business or They Have 7 Magical Dwarfs

First Class Suite
First Class Suite

Punch me if you can—and don’t think I cannot land a punch on your nose too. I am not by this article suggesting that there are no hard working Ghanaian women out there. Definitely, there are several of them—and you wouldn’t need a degree in Psychology to point out these people when you come across them.

Hard working Ghanaian women who make honest living—either large or small, would not spend their entire day showing off their wealth. In fact, they will be working hard so wouldn’t have the time to be parading everything they own and those they have borrowed from others on social media or our streets.

Now that we’ve taken out the hard working Ghanaians who are constantly tired and on the run, let’s look at the reminder—a group of unemployed or partially employed Ghanaian women who live like Arab Princesses and yet we cannot trace their source of wealth.

When I examine the lifestyle and the belligerent manner these women show off whatever that they come in contact with on social media or on our streets, two things come to mind; It’s either these people are also into the cocaine trade or have 7 magical dwarfs who are constantly fetching them monies from the pockets of those working their butts off.

It’s beyond magic and science to find a person without a regular job driving expensive cars—and spending huge sums of money without thinking about tomorrow. And even when tomorrow comes, she will still have more to spend.

I don’t know of any reasonable hypothesis which could come close to establishing how this can be possible, considering the wide cry of economic hardship in Ghana.

It’s not just by chance that a certain Ghanaian woman who is known within the class of expensive ‘ballers’ was recently arrested in London with cocaine—it is possible that more of today’s Ghanaian women are into this business and their lifestyles alone should lead the police into snipping their bags.

She Thinks We Are All STUPID | Cocaine Girl-Nayele Ametefeh Says She Thought She Was Carrying GOLD and Not Coke

It’s one thing if someone thinks she is smart—and it’s another if the person thinks that, not only is she smart, every other person is STUPID and this is obviously what Nayele Ametefeh seems to think of herself.

Nayele Ametefeh who was arrested at London Heathrow Airport with 12.5kg of cocaine in her bag with a value of about 5 million dollars has come out to say, she did not know she was transporting cocaine but rather thought it was gold.

For a minute, let’s grant her that she indeed thought so—and what stopped her from opening the bag to check how beautiful the gold was? So she failed to open her bag to see what was in there and yet she thinks she is smart?

According to StarrFmOnline.Com “this was revealed by Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Hanna Tetteh who told Radio Gold Tuesday, that Ametefeh revealed to consular officials at the Ghana Mission in the UK that an airport ground staff at the Kotoka International Airport – who she does not know – brought the bag containing the drugs aboard the plane and handed it over to her”

Here is another ridiculous claim; so someone brings you a bag and you take it—jump on a flight with it without knowing what was in there…right? What if it was a bomb?

According to Hannah Tetteh, the arrested cocaine lady explained that she wanted to undertake the trip because the reward was good.

What Our Kids Want Us to Know

Black-Woman

UP CLOSE and personal, this teenager encourages us to step into her world to appreciate the day to day challenges that are highlighted and which give us an insight into our interactions with our own kids..

Tell me a bit about yourself.

Hi, I was born 17 years ago into a family with two older sisters. I am a very active person who loves anything to do with music. My favourite food is jollof rice but I can’t prepare it (giggles). I also love nuts and grapes. I want to be an actress and business woman in future. My favourite subjects are Chemistry and History because Chemistry is the only Science I can do and History gives me the chance to express myself and talk a lot.

What informed your choice of career path?

I love money and I want to be famous.

How would you use your position in the future as an actress to influence society positively?

I would give to the poor, build schools and organise Cancer Awareness programs as many women are developing Cancer.

Do you plan on having a family?

Yes, I want to get married by the age of 27. I plan on having two boys and two girls but I wish they could be born old; the little ones are so fragile. Oh, and I would definitely want to get rich before I marry (smiles). My dream guy should be sweet, loving, faithful, hardworking and RICH.

Then you need to start now. Do you have a boyfriend?

Are you serious? (giggles)

Why are you tickled?

I didn’t expect that question. No, I don’t.

ECG Workers Threaten to Throw The Nation into Darkness If Sacked Boss is Not Reinstated: For A Largely Incompetent Organisation They Have A Lot Of Nerve- And Aren’t We Already in Darkness?

ECG1

The cheek on these people who are supposed to be public servants is unbelievable, as this statement from a staff of ECG shows.

The Managing Director of the company was ‘sacked’ last week by the President, ostensibly for his failure in containing the dumsor situation. Since then, some workers of ECG have been agitating, calling for the reinstatement of their boss, but I’ve never paid them much mind, until I saw these statements.

A myjoyonline report indicates new threats from some staff of the power distributor, and this time they are saying that if their boss does not return, they are going to plunge the country into darkness. They plan to do this by shutting down some substations.

Their arguments, per the report, are that their boss has been made into a scapegoat. His dismissal is unfair, and an attack on the entire working force of the Electricity Company of Ghana.

Assistant Director At The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs, Two Others, Arrested For Allegedly Aiding Ruby To Use The VVIP lounge At Kotoka Before Boarding Her Flight

Nayele Ametefe aka Ruby Appiah

So the saga continues with no sign of abating anytime soon, as three people have been arrested in connection to aiding Naayele Amatefeh, the now legendary Ghanaian cocaine courier who was arrested at Heathrow with 12kgs of cocaine.

As events surrounding the entire saga unravel, one thing that has been made abundantly clear is that Ruby must have some friends in high places to account for the brazenness of her methods. She, despite being a wanted woman and carrying such a large quantity of contraband, breezed past security at the Kotoka International Airport; the only plausible explanation being that she must have had help.
