Nayele might be going to jail very soon but down here the security agencies are not resting on their laurels, determined to bust what must be a very massive underground ring looking at how the events unfolded.

Nine people were initially arrested including the two ladies who apparently travelled with her through the VIP lounge at the airport on that fateful day. The latest arrest is that of a businessman called Alhaji Dawood, believed to be the man who gained the ladies entry through the VIP lounge.

After the arrest of the foreign affairs official and two employees at the airport, the BNI revealed that a phone call was placed through to them to allow the three ladies access through the VIP lounge, access that included loading the luggage onto the plane for them. The man behind that phone call has been identified as Alhaji Dawood.

He was declared wanted by the BNI, and was arrested Sunday night at the Kotoka International Airport upon his arrival into the country from Lagos.

This brings to thirteen the number of people so far arrested in connection to this case, and at the moment this Alhaji Dawood looks like the big boss man. He probably isn’t, but I guess only investigations would reveal how far up the food chain this thing goes.

      • Lol…. Honey, you’re very funny!! Why are you wondering why Ibrahim Mahama has not been arrested yet? Is it because Kennedy Agyapong claims he is involved in it? Look, this is a very serious criminal case and the BNI is still investing to bring all the people involved to book. Law enforcement does not go by hearsay.

    • When the story first came out, some people claim Nayele has a diplomatic passport on her when she got arrested, but it turn out to be false. Then they claim Pres. Mahama was involved in the deal, and it also turn out to be false. After the two disappointing allegations. There was yet another allegation circulating in the media that, Ibrahim Mahama was the mastermind of the Nayelegate by no other person but Kennedy Agyapong. He claim to have evidence to that effect. And guess what? Ibrahim Mahama dared him to come out with the evidence and expose him but Kennedy Agyapong couldn’t prove it.
