Efya
Efya

Sarkodie, Efya and Guru have all drop songs for the festive season—and even though Efya’s ‘Gingam too Much’ is our favourite, Guru has a cool visual for his-Obaa Jackie Chan.

And it looks like Sarkodie is falling in love with reggae—even though we think he is pretty weak at that corner, he has teamed up with Jupiter and Stonebwoy to bring us ‘Whine Fi Me’.

So The FANATICS Are Still Preaching FreeKwawKese? | Read What Actor Jackie Chan Told His Biological Son When He Was Caught With Weed

kwaw Kese

The more I listen or read on those who are still championing the FreeKwawKese campaign, the less sympathy I feel for Kwaw Kese, and the higher I wish the court does not temper justice with mercy – but rather, stretch and apply the full dimension of the law on his case.

Yes, I am a fan of Kwaw. I enjoy his songs and performances, but I won’t allow that to besot me to start insulting the integrity of the judge on the case, water down our judiciary system, and create the impression that the court is unlawfully manhandling Kwaw Kese – as most of those who are championing the FreeKwawKese movement are still doing!

Knowing the possible harm this FreeKwawKese camping could have on the ongoing case, management of Kwaw released a statement in which they appreciated fans of Kwaw for showing support but also, monished those proponents to stop their advocacy.

“We are therefore calling on all parties to desist from making further statements and embarking on campaigns such as FreeKwawKese et al in a bid to support Kwaw Kesse. On the contrary, these activities along with the heightened media coverage only go to worsen the plight of Kwaw” the press release cautioned.

Meanwhile, mother of Kwaw has even come public to state that she has in the past heard that her son engages in weed smoking but can only wish him well in this trial; yet, some zany musicians are still championing the FreeKwawKese campaign as though they love him more than his own mother.

Read what evergreen reggae artist, Black Prophet, recently posted, saying Ghana government and police must: “Freekwawkesse! Locking him up for smoking ganja? Please look for the killer of his manager, Chinese killing villagers for our gold, our oil, rights, passports and school documents has no value in the west, let build more free schools, protect Ghana and Africa from foreign interference, etc for a Better Ghana and Africa. Blessings.”

Weekly Discussion: Why Don’t Muslims WISH Christians Merry Christmas As Much As Christians Wish Them Happy Eid/Happy Sallah? | The Answer May Shock You

Merry Christmas
Dr. Bilal Philips

To be frank, the few close Muslim friends I have did wish me a ‘Happy Christmas’ and when it’s their big day-Eid, I regularly wish them Happy Eid.

But yesterday, through observation Hammer of the Last Two kick started a debate on his facebook page which brought out certain Muslims to explain and defend the idea that, true Muslims should not wish Christians Merry Christmas, because doing so means they are accepting the divinity of Jesus Christ.

I did not know there was such an issue hovering over the heads of religious people but the debate or discussion was quite interesting—so I have decided to bring it here to ask our Christian readers if they know about this practice and what do they think.

I also want to ask our Muslims readers if truly, this is part of Islamic teachings; that true Muslims should not wish Christians Merry Christmas?

Let’s get talking but check out the conversation below first…

How DISGRACEFUL Kumawood Ended 2014 | Menam Ne Metete 1 & 2 + Obinim Schwaznager 1 & 2

Obinim Schwaznager

Yesterday Chris-Vincent shared his thoughts on the new Hobbit film-The Battle of the Five Armies—and he asked, when can the Ghana Movie Industry pull just 1% of the great works of the likes of Peter Jackson?

To be frank, I felt he was hitting the industry too hard and he could have said, we are at 10% or so but after coming across these movie posters, I wish he would edit his post and say we can’t even pull 0.01% of the great works western film-makers are doing.

If we cannot even be creative to put together movie tittles, what makes us think we can put together a whole good story for a movie?

Many do not like to hear that Kumawood is a liability but considering how they’ve decided to end the year, I wouldn’t put them in the box of assets—never ever.

This is just heartbreaking…And it better be some joke!
