CHRIS-VINCENT: Fighting God’s Battles for Him Only Makes God a Weak Loser | the Killing of the 12 in Paris…

Dave Brown’s Cartoon for Charlie Hebdo

Shocking incidents like yesterday’s killing of 12 journalists and cartoonists at the offices of the French Cartoon Magazine-Charlie Hebdo validates the assertion that, the world would be far better without organised religion; which is founded on bigotry, violence, intimidation and oppression of its critics, women and children, writes Chris-Vincent on BrutallyUncensored.Com.

For many like me, secularism which welcomes criticisms and places humanism ahead of certain man made beliefs from Stone Age which have today been granted immunity by followers who seek to oppress those who do not share in their beliefs is the only way forward, especially in our 21st century…

Yesterday, French Press watched in shock the atrocious killing of some of those who hold to their hearts one of the greatest instruments of human civilization; free speech—and per early findings, the 12 cartoonists/journalists were shot down by 2 gunmen for what seems to be their unbiased criticism of the Islamic faith.

Over the years, religion has somewhat succeeded in clothing itself in this delicate fabric of immunity, unwelcoming any sort of criticism—either from those within or worse from those outside. Any attempt to criticise religion, its countless prophets or the all powerful God sends out deluded soldiers who take the law into their own hands instead of allowing God to send down well trained angels to do His dirty job.

Of course there is no reason why religion should be treated any different from Sports, Philosophy, Science, Art, Politics and the many other disciplines which mean a lot to different people, when it comes to criticism; but for many religious zealots, any criticism even if grounded in satire is a taint on their beliefs—warranting all manner of barbarism such as what we saw in Paris yesterday.

It’s a pain to wake up each day to the ignorance and oppression of religion but being intimidated not to have a say about a belief system that has a lot to say about everything we do including what we should eat, who we should sleep with and what position we should have sex is not only hypocritical, rather, insane.

KKD Has Been at the Police Hospital for Some Days Now | Bail to Be Requested on Health Grounds?

It’s obvious Kwesi Kyei Darkwah did not take the rape allegation brought by the 19 year old girl seriously—and this was evident in the manner he and his lawyer appeared in the Court for the first hearing which remanded him in jail. Yesterday, KKD was reported to have been at the Police Hospital while his … Read more

UK is Behind and Ghana is No Where Close…FREE WIFI in Buses & Trains Across Holland

Free WIFI in a Bus
Free WIFI in a Bus

For many theoretical physicists like Machio Kaku, the internet is a type one civilization communication tool—its presence today indicates our human transition from type zero civilization to type one.

Few years ago, having internet access cost a leg and an arm—and even that, the connection was pretty slow. The developed countries have realized the economic and many benefits of granting internet access to all at a cheaper price—and as such they have invested heavily in millions of WIFI hotspots.

In the last few years, price tags on internet access in Europe, America and Asia are being faded away with several cheap restaurants like McDonalds and Coffee shops offering free internet connections via multiple hotspots to their customers.

I’ve been to Netherlands three times in the past  but I have always been locked to my hotel—without taking time to explore the public transportation system and the interesting FREE WIFI service that comes with the various bus and train rides.

London has limited hotspots at some of its train stations and even that, you have to pay to get access to them. There is an on-going investment to offer WIFI hotspots in the many London underground trains by the end of 2015.

I have not heard of any of the red London buses having been equipped with WIFI hotspots, let alone making these hotspots FREE as I have shockingly been enjoying on buses at Apeldoorn, Netherlands.

For the many people who need internet connections on regular basis to work, the countless free WIFI hotspots in Netherlands mean a world to us—and even though my friends out here had mentioned the availability of such service to me, I only felt its immense benefits when I jumped on one of the trains.

OMG
OMG

They like to be called DC, Dansoman City. Unfortunately the Police in DC have a totally different kind of DC to deal with this morning, a Dansoman Corpse.

Citifmonline reports that two gentlemen attempted to rob a gentleman who was bathing of his wallet in the capital suburb Wednesday night. Unfortunately for them, the gentleman came out, saw the two, and raised an alarm that alerted residents in the area.

One of the duo managed to make his escape, but the second guy was unfortunate enough to be captured. In this vigilante system of ours, he was subsequently lynched, then set ablaze.

Kwesi Kyei Darkwah (KKD) appeared in Court today over the alleged rape charges hovering over his heard, and he has been remanded in prison to reappear in Court on January 22…

A move KKD’s legal team made has come back to bite their butt; they filed an application for bail at the Human Rights Court which was heard yesterday—and the Court requested that they come back on January 13 as the prosecutor complained of only having been served a day before.

As a result of the above, the District Court today said, since they have already made an application for bail at the Human Rights Court, it would be prudent to hear the outcome of that application before it continues with its hearing—which would likely be to transfer the case to a higher court.

The 2015 African cup of Nations is barely a week away, and Ghana’s Black Stars are holed up in , Seville, Spain; carrying out an intensive pre tournament training camp as they aim to make the nation proud in Equatorial Guinea.

New coach Avram Grant is also trying to come to terms with the vagaries of his new team, as his task is a little more daunting than most: he is to create a winning team with a little more than three weeks preparation.

The team engaged in their first competitive friendly ahead of the tourney, playing Olhanese Club in nearby Portugal. They emerged 3-0 winners, with goals from new striker Kwesi Appiah, Christian Atsu, and Jordan Ayew.

The match was a great opportunity for Grant to assess his charges in a competitive atmosphere, and served as a final test for making the final squad. Indeed with CAF’s deadline for submission of the final squad being 7th January, Grant submitted his squad soon after the completion of the game.

Of the 26 who made the trip to Spain, three were dropped. Samuel Inkoom, Ibrahim Moro, and Kwabena Adusei; Jeffrey Schlupp also had to be dropped due to injury.
