So imagine you have been with a certain pretty lady for a while. You guys have been dating; you click, and always have a great time between the sheets.

People always mention you look alike, until the one day she meets your grandma who tells you she’s your cousin!

What do you do then?

For Kevin Gates, an American rapper with ties to Young Money and signed to Atlantic Records, nothing. He was in the same situation, and posted a video on his Instagram to explain why he saw nothing wrong with it, and thus continued the relationship for a long while after that.

“But I ain’t about to stop f***ing with her. Sh*t, the p**sy good and we click. I ain’t grow up knowing you was my people. I don’t get tired”

He initially posted it like it was a recent event, but after some strong backlash he explained to TMZ that it was in his past, and that he and the lady are still friends despite not dating anymore.

“Why f**k up a good thing?” was his question to everyone.

Gates never found out how really close his relation to the girl is, but knowing this western folks it’s probably something like a third cousin, twice removed- whatever that means.

Still, if you were dating a girl and found out she was any kind of relation, or vice-versa, isn’t that like an automatic stopping point for that relationship?
