According to social media talks which remain unconfirmed, certain big men of our Ghanaian societies, ranging from pastors to rich men from a particular church went to see the alleged KKD rape victim- Miss Ewuraffe Orleans Thompson—for an out of court settlement.
Apparently, using the public backlash, these negotiators reminded the young girl and her family of the already compounding societal stigma and begged that the case be dropped for a reasonable compensation (amount of money).
This has not been confirmed from the girl’s quarters or KKD’s legal team but what seems apparent is that, the girl has suddenly expressed her dis-interest in the case.
It is Assemblies of God Church, Starr Fm and prominent personalities behind KKD and his lawyer Bediatuo
I don’t blame the girl. The hounding is overwhelming. Even before a trial, the media frenzy has been unbelievable. There is no way she would have had a normal life.
So the church is even involved in this plus Starr Fm? this is really sad to justice.
Guys, we can never know what truly ensued with regards to this whole KKD saga. One thing I know for sure is that God is and cannot be fooled.
Our societies are sick, but the people are “sicker” and the mindset is the “sickest”. In the bullshit department called Ghana, a woman of voting age can’t win a rape case against a deranged fashion monster because the minds of the populace have been raped a million times. Something is fucked up in this society, and that’s simply because it’s run by men. The Church is even more corrupt than the government. The girl got raped by ONE man and got slapped by MILLION men.
