It must be hard dating a man who puts on more makeup than you.

The sad news is that Cristiano Ronaldo and our favourite wag, Irina Shayk, are no longer together after five years of dating.

The model’s rep confirmed the pair have split in a statement to US Weekly. “We can confirm Irina Shayk has ended her relationship to Cristiano Ronaldo of five years. She has been close with his family throughout the course of their relationship,” Irina Shayk’s rep revealed.

The rep added: “Any negative rumours with regards to Irina and the family are completely false, and have not been a factor in the cause of the split. Irina has no further comment at the time.”

Rumours of breakup between the footballer and the model became rampant after the Hercules actress failed to show up at last week’s annual Fifa Ballon d’Or in Zurich. Irina further fueled split rumours after she unfollowed Cristiano on Twitter.
