Ghana 2-1 South Africa: Late Ayew Header Sends The Black Stars Through To The Quarter Finals

A dramatic game in African Cup Group C got decided by a late header from Andre Ayew in the 83rd minute as the Black Stars recovered from a goal down to beat South Africa 2-1.

An opening day loss to Senegal had put Ghana’s entire campaign in jeopardy; but an extremely late goal from skipper Gyan in the game against Algeria put the team back in contention for a last eight slot. The only requirement being a win against a South African side that have so far proved to be the whipping boys of the group.

Yet it was the Bafana Bafana who took an early lead through Mandla Masango. A ball was not sufficiently cleared and fell to Masongo, who hit a one time dipping volley that left Ghana goalkeeper Razak Brimah stranded.

The lead deflated an otherwise adventurous Stars’ side, giving South Africa a foothold in a game hitherto controlled by Ghana. The Stars continued to attack on occasion though, winning countless corners which inexplicably were wasted without any threat to South Africa.

Ghana, A Worthless Land of ‘JOKERS’ | Madagascar’s Government Resigned Over ‘Dumsor Dumsor’ So Why is Ghana’s Incumbent Government Still in Power?

Dumsor Dumsor

I really don’t care about what the heck you have to say about my estimation when it comes to Ghana—because, you are probably one of the many jokers holding the Ghanaian citizenship train in total absurdity, making it lack the needed oxygen of common sense…

Few months ago, I tried selling Ghana to the Chinese with America and the Koreans in mind but no one was interested—including the Chinese who are known for buying everything defined as ‘garbage’.

Even to the Chinese, Ghana is not worth the status of garbage—worth their buying or consideration; and if you missed the article in which I listed Ghana on eBay for sale, CLICK HERE to READ.

Ghana may have a lot of mineral resources and therefore referring to such a country as worthless may sound a little confusing to you but the truth is; it’s not what is buried underground that makes a land worthy of anything in any contemporary discussion of wealth creation—instead it’s the various capabilities of those in charge of land supported by the underworld of minerals.

There are countless countries out there with little or no natural resource but are far worthy than countries like Ghana which have all the things we’ve come to know as ‘expensive stones and liquid’. A typical example of the former is England—a clear indication that, it is the people who live on the land that create its wealth and worth.

A land occupied by animals like the Amazon forest may have a lot of natural resources beneath the surface but these animals cannot really make anything out of the land—and  without being contemptuous, I can say Ghana’s situation can be rightly confused with the Amazon forest example.

Ghana is a pure JOKE to some of us—and anyone who wants to debate this should take me on. I know for certain no sane person will dare to take up this challenge. No good arguments can displace certain things because they are not falsifiable—and Ghana being a joke is one of these things.

Earlier this month, Madagascar’s Government resigned over their own version of ‘Dumsor Dumsor’.  The Prime Minister and the Government’s resignation came following weeks of heavy protest by angry Madagascans who said blackouts (Dumsor Dumsor) have become more frequent since Rajaonarimampianina came to power a year ago. And even before that, the Energy Minister-Richard Fihenena was fired for his inability to solve the problem.

VIDEO: I Can’t Get Ebola Because I Have the Holy Spirit in Me Says A Nigerian Woman

OMG
OMG

We understand it is your choice to be religious or not but some people are putting not only their lives but the lives of the people around them in danger due to their faith.

The kind of things people will do from eating grass and bathing in dirty water all in the name of religion is baffling but what some of these people as seen in the video below say can make the hardest Christian cringe.

Well we blame people like TB Joshua who is willing to perpetrate nonsense like sending 2000 anointed water to Ebola hit countries.

Anyway check out the video below and let us know what you think…

A Letter to the People Of Ghana | Every True Ghanaian Must Read…

Ghana
Ghana

I live in a Ghana where our country currently cannot boast of 500 megawatts of power. This is a figure the 300 spartans can probably give out after every battle through their kinetic energy alone but my very dear and ‘great’ country Ghana cannot but I quickly remind myself that inside the core of this over 230,000 square meters lies everything we need. The problem? THE FREAKING LEADERS WE CHOOSE.

I had to postpone this piece last week because I did not have electricity for three consecutive days out of the seven. This is minus the ‘normal’ advertised load shedding schedule. Which sensible country is governed this way??

These people don’t seem to know how angry and frustrated some of us are and if you are a Ghanaian and you say I should be used to this by now then you are indeed part of the problem. In leading, vision and integrity is key, our leaders don’t seem to have any of these virtues. If a leader does not possess these qualities, then we might as well vote an ANT as our next President, I can assure you we will get better results.

Accra’s Police Commander Says They Need Spiritual Backing to Succeed | Which Is A Good Idea- God Knows The Police Themselves Aren’t Doing Anything

Ghana Police
Ghana Police

We often descend hard on a lot of things here at GhanaCelebrities.Com, maybe sometimes a little too hard; but seriously I don’t think that can even apply when we’re talking about the general cluelessness of the Ghana Police Service.

This is the institution supposed to protect and serve the people of this country from society’s more unscrupulous elements. Instead, like most other institutions, they just delight in exploiting the ordinary Ghanaian in any way possible.

It wasn’t for no reason that they were adjudged the most corrupt institution in the country. Added to that, there is a just a general apathy from them to solving crimes; you’d be surprised the number of cases thrown out because of the lack of sufficient evidence to prosecute.

A friend told me they should be known as the ‘tip-off’ Police Service; because 9 out of ten times you hear the police crack a big case, they reveal they were acting on a tip-off.
