Columbian ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ singer Shakira and her husband, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, last night welcomed their second child into this world.

The new addition, a boy, was born without incident in Barcelona late Thursday night, barely 24 hours after Pique had turned out for Barcelona in their 4-2 aggregate win over Athletico Madrid in the Spanish King’s Cup.

The 37 year old Shakira underwent a planned caesarean at the Quiron Teknon Hospital in Barcelona where they reside. It was the same hospital where their first child, two year old Milan, was born.

The duo has been together for about four years, and Shakira is often a regular feature at FC Barcelona games, cheering on her lanky husband in action.
