4 Ways Mzbel Has Conducted Herself Far Better Than The Christians Fighting Her

Mzbel

Mzbel has not been having it easy of late. When she made those comments about the myth of Jesus Christ, as she called it, she least expected her countrymen to descend on her with so much vitriol.

Or maybe she did, but was expecting that as Christians, they would live up to the tenets of the venerable saviour whose existence she was striving so hard to deny.

Still, the aftermath of the entire issue leaves a sour taste in one’s mouth, especially if you look at the invectives people are throwing her way for essentially speaking her opinion.

But then as Ghanaians we have always revelled in the spiral of silence style of existence. Poor you if you decide to go against the grain; be it religiously or in terms of sexual orientation.

Looking at Mzbel’s conduct throughout this whole saga, and that of ‘Christians’ trying to set her straight; I’ve gleaned four reasons why Mzbel is the one who’s conducted herself far better than those against her.

1. She Did Not Insult Anyone

Listen to the original tape where Mzbel made the declaration, she took great pains to appear non-confrontational, and remain respectful of Stacy’s opinion and that of the larger Ghanaian population, despite her position. In fact, when asked the question her first words were “I don’t want to offend anyone…”

So if Mzbel, the supposed heathen, can carry herself with such restraint, why can’t the Christians who are supposedly the reflection of Christ do the same. If you want a catalogue of some of the insults thrown her way, well we have them nicely catalogued for you on this very site.

It’s very obvious Mzbel is making her arguments, sticking to the facts. Insults are being hurled at her by the supposed Christians.

  1. I’m a Christian by choice and I find it hard to believe my other Christian brethren have descended on Mzbel because of her stand against Christ. she saying she doesn’t believe in Christ constitute no wrong so what’s all the insult about.

Just as I don’t expect believers of other faiths to pick on me, the same way, I expect Christians to be civil in our augments. the Christ we believe in never begged let alone insult a non-believer.

Mzbel doesn’t believe in Christ and so what?
I also don’t believe in Buddha and so what ???
    this shouldnt be news.

    • Yes it’s a huge news by Gcc simply because of their Anti-Christ preaching, and secondly would you send your baby to a buddist temple for baptism though you don’t share their beliefs ? But Mzbel did not believe in Christ but her baby was baptised in church.

is she ignorant or hypocrite? But Gcc will be dancing their A*S out because these are the topics they want to inculcate on others.

      • Till now, I had no idea her child has been baptised. that’s real hypocrisy. all the same, let’s not continue to give her attention.

As for GC, I ve stopped reading their religious articles. I refuse to give them that attention and I hope all Christians do too

  2. I don’t support insult too but one thing i have to say to Chris and Mzbel you’re spitting on christians faces and you expect that they won’t insult you back in respect for their faith finally both of you are hypocrits and just attention seekers you say christians are bad and in return you expect them to be good with you because you know they are supposed to be good, please spare us the drama and just stop what you’re doing respect others people belief you don’t have to believe in Jesus if you don’t want but leave christians alone.

  3. First of all let me apologize to Mzbel for all the insults that have been reigned on her. Cyber bullying is never okay. No way does Christ tell us Christians to insult people who do not believe in him. Rather he told us that by our love we shall be known..

Now lets get to the facts about this Horus Business.. A simple google search about Horus will tell you that the facts being spewed about Horus being similar to Jesus is not true.

Horus(this is not according to a christian website)

Horus was born to the goddess Isis after she retrieved all the dismembered body parts of her murdered husband Osiris, except his penis which was thrown into the Nile and eaten by a catfish or sometimes by a crab, and according to Plutarch’s account (see Osiris) used her magic powers to resurrect Osiris and fashion a gold phallusto conceive her son (older Egyptian accounts have the penis of Osiris surviving).

Once Isis knew she was pregnant with Horus, she fled to the Nile Delta marshlands to hide from her brother Set who jealously killed Osiris and who she knew would want to kill their son. There Isis bore a divine son, Horus.

***How does this relate to the birth of Jesus?

Please do your research on Horus.
Horus was born to Isis; there is no mention in history of her being called “Mary”. Moreover, Mary is our anglicized form of her real name ‘Miryam’ or Miriam, so that particular name was not even used in the original texts of Scripture Isis not a virgin; she was the widow of Osiris and conceived Horus with Osiris Horus born during month of Khoiak (Oct/Nov), not Dec 25th. Further, there is no mention in the Bible as to Christ’s actual birth date. The Dec 25th celebration of Christ’s birth did not occur until 4th century and was linked to the Winter solstice celebration. There is no record of three kings visiting Horus at his birth. In addition, kings didn’t visit Christ at His birth – magi (king makers) did. And the Bible never states the actual number of magi that came to see Christ Horus not a “savior” in any shape or form – he did not die for anyone There are no accounts of Horus being a child teacher at age 12 Horus was not “baptized”. The only account of Horus and a water incident is described in one story where Horus is torn to pieces, with Iris requesting the crocodile god to fish him out of the water he was placed into Horus did not have a “ministry” Horus did not have 12 disciples. According to the Horus accounts, Horus had four semi-gods that were followers and some indications of 16 human followers and an unknown number of blacksmiths that went into battle with him There is no account of Horus being betrayed by a friend Horus did not die by crucifixion. The Zeitgeist movie pegs the Horus account at 3,000 B.C., long before crucifixion was practiced. Now, various accounts have Horus being dismembered by Set and his bodyparts being scattered throughout the earth, with others combining Horus and Osiris together and him being torn apart and thrown into a river. There are also stories of his left eye being gouged out, which supposedly explained why the moon (which it represented), was so weak compared to the sun. It was also said that during a new-moon, Horus had become blinded and was titled Mekhenty-er-irty (mḫnty r ỉr.ty ‘He who has no eyes’), while when the moon became visible again, he was re-titled Khenty-irty (ḫnty r ỉr.ty ‘He who has eyes’). There is no account of Horus being buried for three days Horus was not resurrected. There is no account of Horus coming out of the grave with the body he went in with. Some accounts have Horus/Osiris being brought back to life by Isis and going to be the lord of the underworld.

So when compared side by side, Jesus and Horus bear near zero resemblance to one another.

Please do your own research Chris and all the readers.. one love

  5. MzJezebel ” judged” us christians by attacking our God. So why can’t we judge her. Why is GC playing double standards. MzJezebel has no right to judge us either. We are only defending our faith. She s free to go to hell.
