Do you remember a video which was published by Starr Fm some weeks ago showing Kwesi Kyei Darkwah and his alleged rape victim- Ms Ewuraffe Orleans-Thompson kissing at the African Regent Hotel lobby—and after, we saw the two of them walking outside (the video claimed that was after the sex and they left the hotel/event together).
It seems we were lied to—according to KKD’s own police statement which you can read below, this was not the case.
After the alleged rape, KKD did not see Ms Ewuraffe Orleans-Thompson again that night; so it seems she was not happy about what happened as every normal person who has been raped would—and went straight to the police station
KKD in his statement to the police said, after the event, he went about looking for Ms Ewuraffe Orleans-Thompson and it was during his search for her that the police came for his butt…

I took she was busy and came back down to……… Kofi, Benny and other guest in the lobby in the hope that she will come by. After some forty minutes and more, I waited in the lobby. A gentleman in a uniform came over and spoke politely that my presence was required at the airport police station to help with investigations.
I asked what the matter was and the officer advised that I would be informed. I left my drink and called my driver to pick myself and the police officer up. I noticed another police officer who had come into the lobby too, to join a pickup. We drove after the pick to the police station.

Hmmm! A lot is beginning to make sense now. Many discredited Ms Ewuraffe Orleans-Thompson by saying a rape victim would never sit throughout an entire event and then walk home hand in hand with the said rapist. Actually, it seems this never happened…

Kyei, Abena Konadu Owusu-Akyaw’s brother who was also one of the organisers of the event. That since the event had not started, she and Abena Konadu Owusu-Akyaw decided to go for a walk. That on their way out, at the drop off area they met the accused who immediately said”Wow! What beautiful girls. You are glamazons’.
That he asked about their schools and wanted to know if they were models. That they answered in the negative. That the accused asked that they wait with him for his cousin Kofi Okyere Darko hereinafter referred to as “KOD”. That she and Abena agreed and followed the accused to the lobby and when KOD arrived the accused introduced her and Abena as his new friends.
That after exchanging pleasantries accused intimated that he wanted to make them the face of Ghana Tourism Campaign’and they took photographs to that effect.

Hmm two different statements,also who then doctored the cctv footage we saw previously from the hotel cameras.I think the best prof for the court will be the medical report,if indeed she s a virgin then her story is somehow valid,am threading cautiously since this case is still in court and we should all avoid writing our own conclusions.Only the court of law can prove who is telling the truth.Lets keep our fingers crossed cos I think this case is far from over.Those who tried to buy the gal and kill the case,hope they got served right,enjoy the money and let the AG deal with this issue.
From the medical report, her hymen was not intact (broken) on examination, and there was blood in her private part. The report thus came with a conclusion that, “she could have been a virgin”. It is hard to tell from medical examination if a lady was a virgin or not a virgin in the past.
court of law cant 100% prove innocence. i hope u are aware of a lot of innocent people in jail.

Starr FM (KKD’s friends) put this video out there but instead of showing the last clip the KKD with the girl as when they met (first clip), they showed it last and wrote, look at them leaving the hotel together. meanwhile KKD’s own statement shows that he did not even see the girl again after the s*x and after the show. In fact he was looking for the girl
I saw something too, maybe same thing you saw – there is evidence of some aggression from KKD in the footage. The part where he pulls the girl to the side and tries smooching her even before they get to his suite.
I don’t know why Starr Fm mischievously sub-titled the footage this way. The 2 never left the hotel together from KKD’s own statement so why write that in the caption. And the “time for action inside” caption is just wrong. It’s like they are joking about rape. It is clear KKD pulled the girl to the side – the girl did not pull him. That alone could be used against KKD.
In their haste to lie for KKD, they may have shot themselves in the foot with their comments and video. No wonder the attorney general was very confident to go ahead with the case even without Effe. KKD you are going to jail with your cousin in tow. Period!
Effe don’t worry. Looks like God is really fighting for you as you mentioned in your statement. But I pray you can master the courage to go back to court, the same God will strengthen you. Help the attorney general to put them where they belong.

honestly this whole story is quite sketchy…though i understand that no means no, did she not know what she was walking into…famous or not, u meet someone for the first time, and u decide to follow him to his suite?like really?…that’s why he initially came out with the statement that “it was consensual”.
