For those who love the two actors-John Dumelo and Van Vicker, we have a projection of how they will look like when they are about 75 years—and to be frank, they will look good… These images are app projections but I think they give us a clear idea as how these men will age—and if … Read more
It seems the friendship between the host of TV programme-Restoration with Stacy, Stacy Amoateng and Ghanaian musician-Mzbel is going down the gutters—following Mzbel’s Jesus Christ comment on the show and the subsequent comments the musician has made. Mzbel stated in a recent interview that she asked Stacy to edit her comments on Jesus from the … Read more
Rihanna stopped by Good Morning America show today to promote ‘Home’, the upcoming animated film produced by DreamWorks Animation.
The Bajan singer was joined at the GMA studio by ‘Home’ co-stars Jim Parsons and Steve Martin.
When the interviewer asked what home was to her, Rihanna replied that “Barbados will be always home to me, but I feel it’s pretty much anywhere I can fall asleep”.
Check out the interview + photos of her arriving at the studio inside.
I am 3 months pregnant and even though my boyfriend who I have been with for almost 2 years is extremely happy about this, I am really worried since I made the biggest mistake of my life by sleeping with a friend from Church in December.
My boyfriend is white and he is supportive. He is currently helping me with my papers and I truly love him which may sound contradictory because I slept with someone. But like I said it was a mistake which I regret. It will never happen.
My biggest problem is what if the child is for the man from church who I mistakenly slept with? What if the child is born and he is black instead of being mixed as my boyfriend is a German?
I have been thinking about this and even though my friend says it’s not likely I got pregnant just that once that I mistakenly slept with someone else, I cannot sleep and this is really affecting my health.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz which was published yesterday, Mzbel said Stacy Amoteng, host of Restoration with Stacy, hosted her on the show in order to get ratings for the show. According to Mzbel, she asked Stacy to edit her Jesus Christ comments before airing the interview. However, Stacy failed to do so because she knew that would attract people’s attention to watch the show.
Contrary to what Mzbel said, Quophi Okyeame, husband of Stacy and a one-time member of the music group – Akyeame, says Mzbel is just creating controversies as a way of publicity to promote her new single. He made this assertion on Channel R’s 205 this morning.
Answering the question whether the production team called Mzbel to appear on the show or not, Quophi said Stacy never called the ’16 years’ hit maker. Rather, it was Mzbel who telephoned Stacy and asked her (Stacy) to put her on the show.
The second reason is; I studied Elective mathematics and Core mathematics in College—and even though I think my answer below is right, I have had people say it’s WRONG. This seems like one of those tricky questions but I don’t think we should approach it so, even if we do, we should explain how we got to our answer. I know putting 1x is not really right (it should be just x), but I just wanted to explain my answer with that…
The bonus reason is; I know there are a lot of intelligent folks on this blog—and earlier this week, I met a young woman by name Abena Angela in a lift at University of Leicester. She immediately started ‘shouting’ and telling a perplexed classmate I was with that “oh I read his blog and he is like a celebrity”. I wish I was…
It seems to me like brides in India have little tolerance for surprises, and would not hesitate to cancel their wedding if a nasty one pops up; even on their wedding day.
After one bride in India made waves by abandoning her groom because he had epilepsy, then marrying a guest at the wedding! Another case has popped up involving a bride who decided she cannot marry her husband because he could solve a basic math problem.
Times of India reports Lovely Singh, an Indian bride-to-be and her family cancelled their planned wedding when Ram Baran, the groom; could not solve a little math test they administered.
Ronaldo and Shayk dated for five whole years, before splitting up earlier this year with numerous reasons assigned for the break-up.
At the time, neither side really said anything about the split; but the Russian model gave a recent interview in which she said a few things concerning the break-up.
She made a point to speak generally, but there was no doubt who she was referring to. And considering what we know about Cristiano, much of this is no surprise.
From Goal; “If you’re in a relationship, it should be good. Otherwise it’s best to leave”
“If you stay with someone, one must walk in the same direction and look at things the same. Both must share the same concept of what a relationship means and both must believe in a monogamous relationship.
You wouldn’t respond to your cat if it does not recognise what a television set is or has a problem with your well founded argument based on reason as against just ‘what it has been told for many years to believe’—so why bother going on and on about ‘credulous religious intolerants’ who are attacking you for questioning the Jesus Christ myth?
Of course, Jesus Christ existed, at best, he was a deluded Rabbi walking around teaching—and if someone wants to believe a virgin is capable of giving birth to a human being while untouched, and that a son of God came all the way from heaven to be crucified so that sins committed by Adam & Eve (who by the way never existed) would be forgiven, then that is the end of conversation. Don’t bother with such a person—including, responding to him or her.
Ask any of those throwing stones at you to provide their best evidence that Jesus Christ is who they claim he is; and at best, they will go quoting the Bible when they’ve not even established the authenticity of the Biblical story. Most people do not even know that the Gospels were written 30-100 years after the so called death of Jesus Christ.
Some religious people will call the mass exodus of people from the land of religion as ‘end time sign’. But some of us see this as the rise of reason over religious dogma—and whether we like it or not, as people catch the fire of education, the numbers leaving religion behind will increase.
Shockingly, over 7.5 million people are reported to have left religion since 2012 in the United States alone—and the below graphs show that, there has been increase in the move away for many years now…
According to the 2014 General Social Survey (GSS) which was released last week, the United States has about 7.5 million Americans who are no longer active in religion.
“The GSS is the gold standard for sociological surveys. Funded by the National Science Foundation this multi-million dollar study gives us the most accurate data on American society — including religion” writes Religious News.
Ghanaian actress-Lydia Forson’s self-written and produced movie “A Letter from Adam” which has been premiered across Ghana is set for a London premiere on Friday-20th March, 2015 at the Greenwich Odeon Cinema.
‘A Letter from Adam’ which was nominated for the prestigious 2015 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and was recently screened at the Pan African Film Festival will pull its stars to London for the red carpet premiere—and you have to be there…
The romantic drama is described as “a contemporary story about love, loss and hope which draws audiences into a realistic cycle of life seen through the pain of loss, the journey of self discovery and the courage and strength to find hope in the face of adversity.”
Racism is everywhere in the world and it comes in different chillers—sometimes well disguised to the extent that many do not even spot it. But it’s deep in our societies and in an interview with CNN, the four-time African Player of the Year-Samuel Eto’o has revealed how a London jewellery store refused to sell him a £15,000 watch because of his colour.
The millionaire football star said;
“I asked the saleswoman — who was also black like me — ‘Could you show me that watch please?’
“First, I saw her turn and look at her coworkers like, ‘Uh, what should I do?’
“Eventually, she let me see the watch. I looked at it and said, ‘OK, I’ll buy it.’
“I took out my credit card and when she went to go run it through the machine, she came back and said that it was declined.
