Slowly, the KKD rape case is getting there—and it has become known that a 7 member jury is being put together by the State to sit on the trail and decide if the broadcast journalist accused of having raped a 19 year of girl is indeed GUILTY or NOT.

Kwesi Kyei Darkwah and his lawyer was in Court yesterday, hoping to kick start the trial—but it didn’t happen because the State prosecutor asked the court for a month to put together the needed jury for the case.

According to reports, KKD’s lawyer-Anthony Forson was furious that he was not informed about this earlier—as he assumed all were set for proceedings to start.

The case was adjourned to April 22 and KKD was supported in court by his father and Rapper Okyeame Kwame.

KKD,50, was arrested on 27th December, 2014 after a young 19 year old girl filed a report at the Airport Police Station, alleging that KKD has raped her.

The journalist has denied the rape but has accepted that, he had sex with the girl who he had just met few hours early—claiming the sex was consensual.
