Another Incident? Man And Two Kids Die From Inhaling Generator Fumes At Lapaz In Accra

OMG
OMG

When tragedy such as this strikes condolences are due but at times we have to call ‘a spade a spade’, and call out the kind of negligence that can lead to such an incident.

More so; when another similar incident has already claimed lives in this current ‘dumsor’ climate.

Dauda Tahiru, a 29 year old man who lived at Lapaz, and his two kids have died after they inhaled fumes from their gen set they placed in the room prior to sleeping.

GraphicOnline reports the incident occurred on the night of March 16, when the victim, his wife, and his two kids went to sleep during a night of blackout. They put on their generator which they left in the room with them.

The next day, no one had emerged from room at around 10:00am. Concerned neighbours broke down their room and found all four unconscious.

They were rushed to hospital, where the wife was revived; the man and his two children did not survive.

Making it even sadder, the two children are just 2 years and 11 months old respectively. It even calls more into question the negligence displayed by the parents.

Like I mentioned earlier, an exact same incident killed two lovers earlier this year. If you cannot learn from the mistakes of others, you hardly deserve to be called a homo sapien.
