Messi
Messi

He’s one of the greatest players of all time and also a very good goal scorer, but Leo Messi does not reserve his exploits for just the football field.

The Argentine four time Ballon d’Or winner announced this afternoon that he and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo are expecting another son. He posted a picture on Instagram of son Thiago kissing his wife’s baby bump, with the caption ‘Waiting for you baby. We love you’

Reports indicate the baby is expected to be a boy, and that the couple have already chosen his name- Benjamin, just like the son of his best friend and international teammate Sergio Aguero.

The Problem of Automatically Trusting Someone Because He/She is ‘God-Fearing’

Black woman
Black woman

When a woman lists the qualities she wants in a man – first on the list is ‘He should/must be God-fearing’. It’s always the ‘Godly’ man because they attach ‘goodly’ to his godly nature. That is their choice of man they want/need and their reason/s for wanting such men is not far- fetched. However, the automatic ‘goodness and trust’ they ascribe to a supposedly ‘God-fearing’ man is what is very enthralling. Ask them who a God-fearing man is and they’ll quote Bible up and down for you.

We trust others because they earned that trust or vice versa but fortunately/unfortunately (depending on the angle from which you’ll look at things) being a fellow God-fearing club member is enough to gain the trust of some people. People have realised this ‘get things quick’ scam so much so that they are very quick to display ‘God-fearing’ traits to get what they want. They use that to cover their true nature because by hook or crook, his/her fellow brethren will trust totally without thinking things through.

MUST READ: The Pot Calling the Kettle Black | Ghanaian Film-Makers & intellectual Property Thievery…

Actress-Jackie Appiah in'What my wife doesn't know'
Actress-Jackie Appiah in ‘What my wife doesn’t know’

Over the years, we’ve heard of cries from both established and upcoming Ghanaian film-makers in relation to how certain unscrupulous people continue to pirate their works, a total disregard for their intellectual property rights.

The cries are genuine and from online to our streets, several people are making quick bucks from the hard work of our film-makers by stealing their movies and cheaply selling or offering them to African movie lovers who care less about the politics of ownership and intellectual property rights.

For many African movie enthusiasts, they just want to watch a movie and if it’s available, they will watch—irrespective of whether the person selling/offering the movie has the right to do so or has the right to upload the movie online.

Therefore, the many intellectual property thieves would go every mile to get their hands on African movies belonging to others for the irresponsible ready to watch market.

This has created an unending battle between Ghanaian film-makers and the various thieves; with a world wide audience unmoved by the loss the actions of these thieves bring the film-makers.

Consequently, many Ghanaian film-makers have locked their cameras in the dark room while they struggle to find alternative source of earnings—with Socrate Sarfo being a popular example.

On the Road to Become Atheist? Wiyaala Says She Stopped Going to Church Because Of Too Much Noise

Wiyaala

In a recent article I wrote on BrutallyUncensored.Com titled “Why I Stopped Going to CHURCH | I Think You Should Too,” I discussed the 7 main reasons why I stopped going to church—and stated in point 4 that “The Church Became Very Noisy…I Didn’t Want to Become Deaf”

I stated in the article that “Perhaps out of old age, the Judeo-Christian God has some hearing problems and without any scientist in heaven to fix Him a common hearing aid, worshippers have to SHOUT to be heard. If this is not a plausible explanation of the situation, then why is it getting louder and louder—capable of breaking your ear drums?

Call me weird; far better than being offensively ignorant about your health needs to regularly be part of the destruction of your own ear drums—or promoting area nuisance. I’ve never been to the night club and I do not intend to ever do so, for this same reason.

Therefore, to make it a regular torture enterprise and walk into a room full of shouts, unregulated drums, amplifies and clapping—made worse by those who speak in languages they themselves do not understand but expect a God to understand, something had to give me a good boost.

Manny Pacquiao Grew Up As A Street Child In The Philippines; And You’ll Never Guess The Reason Why

Floyd Mayweather Jr. v Manny Pacquiao - News Conference
Manny Pacquiao

As the big fight draws closer (72 hours and counting), and I make every effort to keep you informed of goings on; there’s this inspirational story about the Pacman that his trainer narrated that shows how his resilience has gotten him so far in life.

Pacquiao grew up as a street urchin in Manila, the Filipino capital. He has risen from that and extreme poverty to become one of the greatest boxers who ever lived, as well as a consummate politician back home.

His trainer Freddy Roach told Yahoo the heartbreaking story of his rise- highlighted by the facts he turned professional at 14, he used to sell doughnuts to survive, and that he ran away from home when his father ate his dog.

READERS’ MAIL: I Didn’t Know John Dumelo Was Such A DoucheBag

John Dumelo
John Dumelo

Dear Chris-Vincent,

First of all, let me commend and congratulate you on the success of your blog, GhanaCelebrities.Com. I have been an ardent reader for over 4 years so I can say to some extent I bear witness to your hard and the bluntness this blog lives for.

It’s against the above background that I have decided to write this mail for publication, hoping to point it out to your many readers how much of a douche bag Ghanaian actor-John Dumelo is, made clear by his recent comment on the current unbearable ‘dumsor dumsor’ in Ghana.

Let me ask, John Dumelo seems to present himself as a business man but can he point us to any of his so called businesses and tell us how the business is fairing on the back of ‘dumsor dumsor’?

No serious businessman will entertain ‘dumsor dumsor’ for even a minute yet this empty head comes on radio to say we should give the sitting government more time to fix the problem and that “Rome was not built in a day.”

Yes “Rome was not built in a day” but is 3 years out of 4 years tenure a day? If you cannot use 3 years to fix a problem, don’t make it worse for us and don’t come and be telling us nonsense.

My husband’s blocks’ factory business which used to be opened 7 days a week now runs on luck. And if we are lucky, we get to open it twice a week. We tried a generator which was not cost effective because it cost more to produce one block on generator than selling two of the same blocks when finished.

Nigerian Man Divorces Wife Because She Has No Female Organ | Another Reason Why No Seks Before Marriage is A Ridiculous Proposition

OMG
OMG

The preserve of the strange and quirky story seems to be our sisters Nigeria, the land so vast that everything seems possible.

How else can you explain this story, where a man gets a court to grant him divorce due to claims his wife does not have a vagina? The man, Femi Olayiwole, had been married to his wife for three years but claims they never had seks.

Somehow, and despite the fact they’ve never slept together, this man says they prayed to God for children, and blames his wife for deceiving him when she knew perfectly well she was incapable of giving birth. But unless she’s the virgin Mary I don’t see how this man hoped to conceive without seks.

He managed to convince the judge, who also because the woman had refused summons to appear before the court went ahead and granted the divorce.
