It’s about time everyone understands that this excuse just doesn’t fly anymore.

We cannot find the devil anywhere, to bring him to court so we can ascertain whether this was really his handiwork; and why his other invisible pal God did nothing to stop it- so we’ll make do with you the prime suspect.

Latisha Fisher is a 35 year old New York mother, who for inexplicable reasons smothered her own 20 month old son to death.

She was in the bathroom of a burger joint with the kid, Gavriel Ortiz-Fisher, when she put her hand over his mouth, according to the New York Daily News. When someone saw her, she claimed she was putting him to sleep.She locked the door to the bathroom soon after, which alerted customers and the owners that something was wrong.

When they forced their way inside, they found the boy unconscious and foaming at the mouth. Latisha is said to have prevented efforts to perform CPR on the kid until emergency services arrived, by which point it was too late.

Police sources told the NY Daily News that the mom looked ‘soulless’, and had blamed the devil for her actions that led to the death of the child.

She has been charged with murder.
