Of course he can do that. He has their direct line. Goodluck was sabotaged by Obasanjo and the northerners. Being from a minority group, he was hated by the Yoruba majority and the northern power brokers. That is why Obasanjo, the corrupt and former military dictator, undermined him even though he was from his own party. Boko Haram was the Nigerian October surprise. They were nurtured by the opposition parties, including the governor of the state from where they launch their attacks so as to discredit Goodluck.
The irony is if Goodluck was from the north or the Yoruba tribe, he’ll be contemplating a coup now. That is how the northerners and the Yoruba people deal with defeats.
This Buhari guy is just rehashed news. His reign in the 80s was as bad if not worse than Goodluck’s. Nigerian with their short term memories will be whining after they’ve seen what they elected. They will miss Goodluck.
