Singer- Efya got several people talking with what she wore for last night’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards’s Industry night—which showed her protruding stomach.
Two things may have been happening; Efya must have eaten some large banku or fufu before the event, which mean’t she shouldn’t have wore that dress at all. At best, she should have had some salad—but Africans are no goats, remember.
Secondly, it could be that she is putting on weight and for most African women, the fat gets stored in the stomach area which is really bad.
More importantly, we should just learn how to dress in accordance to our body type and size…
Whatever it is, she took to twitter to present a silly comment to her critics, saying, she is developing abbs!

This is absolutely ridiculous and sexist. There are a lot of showbiz guys walking around with pot bellies but never once has it been brought up. I personally do not condone body shaming in anyway. Efya has a terrific figure and believe me there are days when a female’s body retains water due to hormonal changes leading to bloatoing.
Oh please leave her alone…her stomach is not big, a lot of people have a small gut. Nothing big, nothing new
